DelightntheLord -
He has claimed to have had and has never renounced his faith in Christ. I don't know Bono personally, but I see more fruit and more Christ-like compassion from him than I see from many high profile Evangelicals that could be doing the same thing. He's a flawed guy, but I respect him and his convictions. I hope to see him in Heaven!

I respect the honesty, the struggles and the questions U2, namely Bono poses to not only Christians, but the world. Here is a man who has all of the money and fame a celebrity could ever want yet he gives freely of himself and his money to battle AIDS in Africa, poverty and so many other worthy causes. As somebody that did not grow up in church, I saw so many Christians willing to nitpick from their comfortable pews within the 4 walls of the church, unwilling to get involved. I'll take, Bono with his struggles, baggage and yes, faith anyday as an example of Christ any day over the pew dwellers!
On our own we are little more than bits of stone and glass. Together we are the Body of Christ. Holy Bible: Mosaic is an invitation to experience Christ in His Word and in the responses of his people. Each week, as you reflect on guided Scripture readings aligned with the church seasons, you will receive a wealth of insight from historical and contemporary writings.
