Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. (JN 8:32)

OK. Let's get a little perspective on this subject. There are several points I'd like to make.
1) The bible DOES condemn homosexual behavior - it DOES NOT, however, condemn people who feel drawn to their own gender.
2) If homosexual behavior is sinful, so is adultery, covetous behavior, idolotry, and a host of other things that each of us commits every day.
3) Face it. Church isn't for the healthy Christians, it's for the sick. (The adulterers, idolater (sp?), those given to homosexual behaviors, those who steal, those who covet, and on... and on...
4) Fallenman: There is NO evidence that homosexuality is inborn, or genetic. Studies that GLBT activists point to to bolster their claims do not really support what the activists say they support. This little tidbit comes from the researchers who CONDUCTED the studies, many of whom are themselves gay, lesbian, or whatever. Remember the story about the monkey that displayed homosexual behavior? The GLBT activists pointed it out and said, "See - its natural." What you probably didn't hear is that there were no females in the habitat. So the monkey did just what heterosexual men in prison do. By the way, when a female was finally introduced into the habitat, the homosexual behavior stopped instantly. Finally, we're humans, not animals.
5) Homophobia doesn't exist. Check the DSM (Diagnostics and Statistics Manual), the handbook of the psychiatric proffession. Its not in there. Homophobia is just a made up label used to frighten opposing viewpoints into silence. (Maybe Christians should make one up too. How about Christophobia?)
6) over the years, I've known, respected, and even lived in the same house with GLBT people. I still count them as great friends. I find myself accepting toward these people, even loving (no, not sexual, get your mind out of the gutter!).
7) There is hatred out there, but i suspect most of it is reserved for those who are trying (successfully, I might add) to indoctrinate our children through the schools that homosexuality is natural and normal. Its not folks - check out an anatomy text. I DO hate it when our children are taught to believe lies because they're politically correct.
I suspect I ouhgta stop now...
On our own we are little more than bits of stone and glass. Together we are the Body of Christ. Holy Bible: Mosaic is an invitation to experience Christ in His Word and in the responses of his people. Each week, as you reflect on guided Scripture readings aligned with the church seasons, you will receive a wealth of insight from historical and contemporary writings.
