How many babies would be alive or would have never been conceived (resulting in the mother seeking an abortion because she got pregnant outside of marriage) if we would simply follow God's teachings about sexual immorality.

If more people would get serious about Getting To Know Jesus, we could reduce the unwanted pregnancies, sexual immorality, sex crimes, sexually transmitted diseases and a whole host of other problems.

Jesus changes people's lives for the better from the inside out. Getting To Know Jesus helps people build a more passionate, personal and powerful relationship with the Son of God.

It is important to remind our government that the First Amendment - freedom of speech and not prohibiting the free exercise of religious belief applies to Christians. Tolerance is a two way street. If we are to tolerate the world, those who are opposed to us must likewise tolerate our right to exist, to speak and to worship according to our faith and understanding of the Bible's teachings.

  • Christian Agency Appears on MTV's Pregnant Teen Series

It is good to see MTV air something that reflects and respects Christian moral values.

Sex between a husband and wife does not bring teenage pregnancies. Our youth need to be taught to save sex for marriage. Those who don't need to know that abortion is not the way to deal with an unwanted pregnancy.

Jesus would not condone what those who have gotten pregnant have done, but He would love them and forgive them if they repented. We should love them and work to help them learn to live a better way.

Jesus changes people's lives for the better. Jeff's faith in Christ made him listen to his mentors and change his ways. Sexual temptation is probably the strongest temptation that we men deal with. Fortunately, a strong faith in Jesus Christ will help us fight that temptation. Having friends who will also keep you accountable will contribute strongly to keeping yourself pure.

The closer you are in your walk with Jesus, the more power you will have to fight the temptations that come your way. Getting To Know Jesus is a Bible study that was written to help people grow a more passionate, personal and powerful relationship with Jesus Christ so they could become more like Him. Jesus is Lord, Savior and role model. www.gettingtoknowjesus.org

Jesus never told us not to defend ourselves or protect our families from harm. In fact, on the night He was betrayed, He instructed the Apostles to carry a weapon (sword) with them in their travels from now on.

An armed man is a free man. An unarmed man is a victimm.
