Although the King of kings, had appointed them and empowered them to rule, they are bold enough to banish the name of the King himself, fearing the masses.
It's not amazing at all if the powers that be is afraid of taking the name Jesus publically.
It's because the name -Jesus- is so powerful and it is above all names. There will always be a humble minority remain to Praise that name and draw Power from Him who is living.

The witnesses in all probablity are fearing for their lives, which are already shattered. If the commission's sitting is held anywhere outside Orissa, winesses would deopose before it. The appointment of an inquiry commission by the Govt. holds no conviction.
One can view the absence of witnesses to testify in the background of the state Govt.'s move to close down all the relief centres forcing the hapless refugees to return to their villages where nothing remains of their own except an hostile group waiting to reconvert them to Hinduism.
Therefore any verdict by the commission will make no difference in the plight of the persecuted Christians.

The condition of the Christians wont improve until the Central Govt of India has the political will to take action against the erring state Govt. The world body of Christianity has failed in pressurising the Govts concerned. The UN too has not done anything tangible to save the hapless, tribal Christians. Only God can save them.

It is not new that Jesus is given inferior position compared to human. And Jesus cannot be given the honour of a mere hero, is true. He is much more than that-He is the very Life of every one. The polls such as this is sheer publicity stunt to be ignored

The majority in the World dislike Jesus, hence everything about Christ, because He manifested God the heavenly Father's precious love towards mankind by becoming an atonment Sacrifice for them. Today's atheist will be tomorrow's believer. Rev. George's response is apt and Christian.

While I appreciate the presentation of the U.N. report on the atrocities committed against the Christians in Orissa and elsewhere in India by the religious fundamentalist groups,I would urge an intense follow up action by the UN as the attackers enjoy political patronage which emboldens them to perpetrate violence against the defenseless tribal Christians, even now with impunity.

What the preachers have to do is to preach the Kingdom of God as the Lord Jesus had told them. If anyone believes the preaching and willing, he should be baptized. If some one rejects him, leave him and move on to another one or another place, dusting their feet there. Jesus did not instruct the preachers to allure them with gifts or force them to accept the Gospel. When anyone does contrary to what the Lord commanded, the Devil is there to exploit the situation to stop even the willing ones to come to Jesus. Preachers, follow Jesus' instructions. Those who are 'taught of God' will come to Jesus. Please read John.6 carefully and the Gospels once more. Please do not sell Jesus to those who do not want to accept Him. Preach Him diligently. He will be pleased. The animosity of the other religionists will vanish. Christ will be accepted voluntarily.
Several such reports since a year on the persecution of the Christians in Orissa, India could not move the World Christiandom to do anything for the poor Tribals. We shall wait for Jesus to come and gather His persecuted disciples to eternal peace.

The skepticism regarding the authenticity of the Holy Bible will not end till the end of this world. The Bible is containing the Divine Plan and its execution of the War between the Good, represented by God Almighty and the Evil, represented and led by Lucifer turned Satan. The Holy Bible is the guide to those who seek the good and work for the Triumph of God Almighty- which is certain- against the Devil and his Demons counting their impending peril in a shortwhile. Satan will employ the Wise Men of the World relentlessly to condemn the Word of God, we cannot ignor it,should be countered by the help of the Wisdom of the Holy Ghost.

God's commandment on Gays holds good for all human beings in the world. Irrespective of their creed or colour or nationality it is abomination and condemned.Advocating for affair and marriage by the Christian Priests is most regretable and such people must be excommunicated.

The church of Jesus was waiting for this day all these years to cometogether in unity as 'There is one body and one Spirit, even as ye are called in hope of your calling; One Lord, one fath, one baptism, One God and father of all and through all and in you all',and may the Lord Jesus help all Christians to 'Endeavour to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace'(Eph.4:4-6,3).

Humanright violation is a stark reality in India on religious freedom. The atrocities on the Christian community in the tribal belt in Orissa is continuing till date is known to international community. In this 60th anniversary, all who believe in peaceful co-existence should urge the UN to monitor the implimentation of the Charter in India and save precious lives of the down-troden people of the society.
Unless the Holy Spirit gives the wisdom none can understand the Holy Scripture as inspired by God and authenticated. My personal experiences vouch for this. Though I was presented with a Holy Bible by my late Father, when I was fourteen, I could not understand the Scriptures till I reached fifty. That too when Jesus had healed me of my paralysis on the seventh day,and I was once again born-again. Now the Holy Scripture is the treasure-trove of God for me. He is teaching me and I in turn teach my children.

Besides intense prayers, people of Indian and International societies should use their influences and might to force the Indian Central govt. to act to protect the lives and liberty of the suffering Christians in particular and all Christians in general, discharging its Constitutional obligation. It is urgent now and immediate.

Holy Bible: Mosaic is an invitation to experience Christ in His Word and in the responses of his people. Each week, as you reflect on guided Scripture readings aligned with the church seasons, you will receive a wealth of insight from historical and contemporary writings.
