Way to go Ron and Sermon Central! I'm all in! I think this is a great reminder to churches across America of the vital importance of unleashing the power of God's Word from the pulpit every week!

I totally agree with Albert Mohler. As the President of a ministry that equips teenagers all across America to share their faith I am finding this culture more open to Jesus but less open to Him as "the only way." What's really disconcerting to me is that this mentality has spilled over into much of the church under the cover of a hip spirituality that focuses more on social justice than eternal transformation. Hey here's an idea: build a house and save a soul. After all God didn't put us on this earth just to make it a better place to go to hell from. Go Dr. Mohler! Go!

Wow! Great stuff. Now let's see if the NAE can be culturally relevant and morally responsible (through Social Justice) WITHOUT compromising the Great Commission. Social Justice without the gospel message is simply making the world a better place to go to hell from. But when the preaching of the gospel (through evangelism) and the incarnation of the gospel (through service) work together it is a beautiful thing. Let's pray for the NAE not to be star struck by the UN but be enamored with Jesus and his last and lasting mandate for all of us to go into the world and make disciples of all nations. Through God's help we can feed the bodies AND souls of the starving.
