Oh, jandmitchell122, while I am certain that "rice Christian" tactics do exist, the overwhelming majority of Christians do not engage in these tactics. People who are simply opposed to evangelism - whether "Christian" or not - just make those blanket accusations against Christians because they believe that evangelism is wrong. "May the Cambodian people see that we care for them and their needs simply because they are human, created in the Image of God. " All giving people charity without giving them the gospel does is condemn them to an eternity in the lake of fire. If one does not believe in the lake of fire, then of course such a person in their self - righteousness will oppose evangelism. But if one DOES, then they will try to find a way to evangelize in an ethical, legal manner, just as the overwhelming majority of Christians do.
