Mike, no one is saying Bush did not make mistakes, but Obama is compounding them and not learning the obvious lessons of history. After 911 George Bush sought God's help. He felt God promised him He would protect America from another such attack for the remainder of his term in office. After doing what he could to keep America safe from another terrorist attack, America enjoyed 'relative' peace without another 911. Now we have a President who does nothing to ensure the integrity of our national borders and frees known terrorist masterminds...among many, many other unbelievably difficult to understand policies and he's only been office over a month! May God have mercy upon us.

I did not vote for Obama but my heart shudders to read things like this. We had better pray and hope in God. There is NO WAY Obama will be able to meet all the demands. Please pray protection on Obama, because what is rearing its head is truly ugly if these demands are not "met", especially in the area of finance. Perhaps many of these promises should not have been made. Regardless, people are even more unreasonable and if their demands for handouts from the government are not forthcoming due to the dire economic condition our country (and world) find itself in, there could be riots or worse. Pray protection on Obama. Pray for our leaders at all times the Bible tells us, wise words!

One thing that will defeat the Adversary more than anything else is to laugh at his antics. The atheists' attempts to silence God are so ridiculous that it deserves, as one put it, only a mere chuckle ...or perhaps ignoring them entirely. If my comment to them to "go take a flying leap" elicits their response to give even more money to their pitiful cause, then likewise their futile arguments just fire me up even more to take a stand for the truth of Jesus Christ and the eternal Gospel of His Kingdom. Remember, this old conflict between the rulers of this world and the rule of God's kingdom is not new and will not quit until Jesus as Lord returns to put down all evil and rebellion.

Let us not forget to pray for Obama, his family and his advisors. It is God's will that all come to repentance. In spite of his all out free choice agenda for abortion, he can still find repentance if we will pray for him. He is a dynamic gifted spokesperson and if he becomes converted God can really use him. Pray for the healing and health of the Supreme Court justices, for their longevity, because they could live out the next four years. Pray God will awaken the moral conscience of this nation once more. Pray that abortion will become repugnant to the conscience of every Amerian. Pray against the root of the apostasy, the falling away from the faith, that is fed by popular talk show hosts that preach a false concept of God. God is in charge of all things but I believe he has let this country choose their "king" rather than what God is about....and judgment stands at the door. Yet God in His great mercy is able to turn things around if we will pray and seek His face.

If they would spend more time 'beholding' Him in their quiet times, meditating and digesting the Scriptures and applying them,...and communing with Him....they would come to know Him and His liberating forgiveness and grace. Well you need to consider that the Bible it is full of angels and the supernatural....and sometimes even weird (!) things. And the Bible says there is more that was never recorded. My concern is that following the Lakeland situation, there will be a reaction towards greater restriction and a kind of 'religious' thinking that will cause persecution against much that IS valid and scriptural, right from within our own ranks! That would be a sad day but I already see it happening. We need to get our eyes back on Jesus and study the Word of God and stop the division and heresy hunting. Read or look up what Dutch Sheets wrote recently. Now that is full of mature wisdom, and it is balanced and full of humility.

Lee Grady, with all due respect, you need to get off your axe against angelic manifestations. It was prophesied in the Bible that there would be an increase in supernatural activity in the last days, angelic manifestations, dreams and visions. If it contracts the main doctrines of the faith and who Jesus is, then you have a right to expose it. But I hope you will get off judging and criticizing this wonderful sign of God's love and provision for us. When the times get more difficult I hope you have angels to help you.

I read the tooth that got knocked out either was not a real tooth, or needed to come out anyway! No one got hurt to my knowledge. I would not do that though! Also Todd is not a teacher, he is mainly an evangelist. I know many very good Bible teachers and preachers who said they never heard Todd teach heresy. If you are judging the supernatural things that happened, there is a true for every counterfeit. How do you know it was not real anyway? You cannot know. The Bible is full of supernatural experiences and God did not stop doing them.

Let's not get too quick to label and judge Todd. He certainly has issues, as do we all. He also poured his life out on the mission field in Africa and other places and won thousands to Christ, as well as thousands of recorded authentic healings through the power of God. He is a gifted young man who needs to address some serious character issues. But he does love God. You should have seen what he was like BEFORE he became a Christian, oh my we won't go there. In comparison, he is an angel now. One thing for sure, he is VERY gifted no matter what wierdness he fell into in recent years. I understand that the ones who seemed to be hit with the boot were not injured, and that is miraculous in itself. It is better to pray for someone and to wish them healing than to ostracize and judge them. This is a test of your heart as well, see that you do not fall into the same thing as what you judge. Jesus said to the woman caught in adultery, Woman where are your accusers? Neither do I accuse you, now go and sin no more. Why do you suppose she was able to "go and sin no more?" Because she received and experienced the healing love and forgiveness of Jesus. We should desire to extend this same forgiveness and pray for Todd and his wife and family.
