"- The sac of Constantinople in 1204 by our own Christian brothers the CRUSADERS along with the VENETIANS who did HORRIBLE things to us Greeks for over 50 years!!!

    - When we, the East, asked the West for help against the Turks in 1450 they said that they would if we became CATHOLICS and renounced our heresies. Of course we didnt and the Catholics left us to the Muslim Turks who invaded us in 1453 and for 400 YEARS ALONG WITH THE ARMENAINS WE WERE SUBJECT TO THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Assume for a moment that what johndk7 is historically correct, i need to run a search yet to find out. But assuming he is, tamna when would you find it something to be dealt with? If it happened 300 years ago? 100? 50? last year?

What happened to Love our neighbors as ourselves? Wouldn't the west ask the east for help if the situation was reversed? Would the east make demands they convert or no help?
If we are to Love our Neighbor as ourselves then was it a sin for the west not to help?

Do you know what happens to those who were conquered by the muslims? Were they Mudered? tortured? Raped? Enslaved? Don't you find this an issue that should be dealt with?

All those capable of choosing God or the World do so. Wheat and Chaff are being separated.

You just have to ask yourself this question: That when you stand before God you will say either you Served him completely or threw your lot in with man.

rlmategc, you are forgetting the American Revolution. Many everyday citizens rose up and became an army.

Now on your professor, he is wrong. I will not believe for a second there is evidence of self-protection with a firearm showing no real significance.
There are sprays, and alarms and Dogs to name a few available self-defense measures available.
    Would you outlaw those too?
Only a fool would say, "Self defense is not significant with a firearm."
Many thiefs know that homes have guns, and they also know to remove them would make them very happy. Crime would increase and so would government Opression.

Now on Hunters and those who like to collect guns and those who like to shoot for sport, like targets and clay pigeons. Would you ban those too? God given common sense says we dont need AK-47's for home defense but a nice shotgun or pistol does just fine. TY.

rlmategc, say that someone breaks into your home, you have wife and kids. You gona just roll over in bed and do nothing? Someone tries to jack your car with your kids in the back you gona just hand em the car keys?

Your blowing smoke and so is anyone who rejects God given common sense.

Now on Obama, he is the worst we could ever have in the White House, not just because of what he will vote for, but because he is not real smart, he has absolutely no wisdom.

2Peter 2:1 "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2Pe 2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
2Pe 2:3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
    2Pe 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

WoW such knowledgeable people! We should pay attention! NOT.

2Timothy 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
2Timothy 3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
2Timothy 3:9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was."

Agentorangex, read my last post. All you have to do is simply ask. And it will be given unto you. Simple Faith can indeed move mountains.

Matthew 21:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Try it today Agentorangex, see if God will see your honest, humble heart and move and grant your request. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Job 38:1 Then out of the storm the LORD spoke to Job.
Job 38:2 Who are you to question my wisdom with your ignorant, empty words?
Job 38:3 Now stand up straight and answer the questions I ask you.

Job 38:10 I marked a boundary for the sea and kept it behind bolted gates.
Job 38:11 I told it, "So far and no farther! Here your powerful waves must stop."
Job 38:12 Job, have you ever in all your life commanded a day to dawn?
Job 38:13 Have you ordered the dawn to seize the earth and shake the wicked from their hiding places?
Job 38:14 Daylight makes the hills and valleys stand out like the folds of a garment, clear as the imprint of a seal on clay.
Job 38:15 The light of day is too bright for the wicked and restrains them from doing violence.
Job 38:16 Have you been to the springs in the depths of the sea? Have you walked on the floor of the ocean?
Job 38:17 Has anyone ever shown you the gates that guard the dark world of the dead?
Job 38:18 Have you any idea how big the world is? Answer me if you know.
Job 38:19 Do you know where the light comes from or what the source of darkness is?
Job 38:20 Can you show them how far to go, or send them back again?
Job 38:21 I am sure you can, because you're so old and were there when the world was made!

Children are also abused and ridiculed so they "fall in line" or are silent. Gays have there advocates in schools to brainwash them and turn them into God haters.

    Ok the Facts are this:
God made everything that is. :)

    I got the Facts.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

agentorangex you have what Christians call a "contentious spirit" its when you want to engage in quarrels and arguments rather than witness. Satan is clever to lead us into those, usually by someone who is in the world.

Wake up to Righteousness! God is quick to forgive and then lead you into his ways and wisdom.

Brethren be aware of those who want to make you upset and lose composure. To argue and fight just to win the argument.

Proverbs 16:32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

Ecc 7:9 Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.

Proverbs 29:11 A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.
