Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. (JN 8:32)
I was just reading a Fox News article. Apparently, nearly half a million of American dollars are going to study how gay men engage in risky behavior when drunk. But this is not why I attach this message to this particular post. See the link yourself: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/05/08/government-funds-study-gay-sex-argentina-bars/
DC is spending money studying drunken gay behavior in another country while DC is reported to have more cases of HIV than in some western Africa countries. I am not saying that gays are the issue. I am stating that homosexuality seems to only increase the chances of AIDs, and the above article will not help DC AIDs crisis.

I have done research on how television and the prevalence of ADD/ADHD correlate. One reason why reading the Bible can be hard to read is the high number of attention-deficits in 1st world countries. Perhaps this sheds light on why people are not reading the Bible as much. Cognitively and socialy, the younger population is whipped. MTV, BET, CBS, ABC, you name it. Media has wrangled with parents while mesmirizing kids for years. Not as many read Scripture simply because they do not have the experience and/or attention span to do so.
**If we encourage people to listen to other songs to preach the Gospel, then do we encourage the iTunes purchaces, and so on? Or do teach piracy so that we can preach Jesus? If someone buys anything that money goes to support someone, ones, and/or some organization(s). Do we really want to keep funding MTV and its poision?

I strongly advise people struggling with understanding Wicca to listen to June Hunt's Hope for the Heart programs. **Some episodes contain content ill suited for children.

Have you heard of Hope For the Heart with June Hunt? It is a radio program with a trained Christian counselor. I heard an episode where she asked lots of questions on the subject of the Occult (Wicca included), and I believe this is it.

Which happened first (a human's sexual orientation, procreation, or sin)? I notice it is after the Fall when Eve bore her children. Did sexual thought/behavior exist before the Fall? I am just interested in these passing questions.

Rick Warren pointed the world to Christ and to "the Lord's Prayer." I do not know him or his motives. Apostle Paul would say..."the important thing is that Christ is preached" (Philippians). And, friends, He is.

I know this is in reply to a post from several days ago, but I was wanting to share:
Please be careful about what an on-line group dishes. It might sound like a good idea to have Christians band together and take on the social network-sphere, however, there are lots of security risks involved. For instance, can you take a dose of your own medicine? I mean, do you really want a bunch of other-than-Christian Facebookers approaching YOUR kid, trying to convert him or her to their ways?
Also, it is important to think about how easily a person can mask his or her true intentions through cyberspace. If a teenager approaches a Youtube "user," who is going to keep him or her from offering potentially harmful information?
Finally, (snicker) do you have a guardian permission slip? If kids are being sent out into all the cyber-world, it would be wise to have legal guardians be notified. After all, there are real people behind the screennames ;).
On our own we are little more than bits of stone and glass. Together we are the Body of Christ. Holy Bible: Mosaic is an invitation to experience Christ in His Word and in the responses of his people. Each week, as you reflect on guided Scripture readings aligned with the church seasons, you will receive a wealth of insight from historical and contemporary writings.
