believer, you're engaging in circular reasoning, IE, "the Bible is true because it says it is." Would you accept it if a muslim said the same thing? "The Koran is true because it says it is." I doubt it.

mathetes, I've read The Case for Christ as well as The Case for Faith and I have to say that A) Strobel is not a journalist - at least not a good one. B) After reading them, I have a hard time believing that he went into the "exercise" not already believing. C) There is very little that is scientific about what Strobel did.

weekenderman - cut out the ad hominem attacks - my post may have been a little controversial to some in this particular community but really wasn't controversial at all. I know of Christians that hold the same view I do about abortion.

prophet: I don't deny the holocaust, I don't know any atheists that do - virtually every holocaust denier is a self-proclaimed Christian. It makes sense since the holocaust was perpitrated by one. Learn about Islam - it is no more or less violent than Christianity. You're right about sensing some anger - but ignorance, no.
