We all deny Christ everytime we commit a sin. It is not our place to judge her but God's if she asks for his Grace and is repentant he will forgive her. I agree with Art most americans know very little of how hard it is to live as christian in some parts of the world.

I do not agree with Mr Duncan we should try everything possible to stay in the Anglican communion But the TEC in its current state has to go. they(the Conservative Bishops) should not boycott the lambeth conference but show up as the Christian Soldiers I know they are. invited or not, to protest the actions of the TEC.

i do not believe the anglican comunion is broken just the TEC. since 2003 i have stopped calling myself an episcopalian, I now consider myself to be a Christain of the anglican denomination. I belong to a diocese that has rejected the authority of the new TEC primate because of her liberal stance. and I am very proud of my Bishop for doing so. I am disapointed in the archbishop of Cantebury for not showing us more support. I am tired of the argument of over homosexuality. it is wrong and should have never come to this, we have better things to do as Christians. This is a free country and they can live thier lives any way they wish but do not push your secular politically correct agenda onto other people and do not expect me and the rest of the world to except it as OK. The TEC has lost far more members than they have gained by this and I think now they are just to proud to admit thier mistake and repent.

i have also heard the the ceasar comment to be about giving up secular things of this world. the property is of this world so it is not needed to enter the kingdom of Heaven.

artm, would you tell people not to read jrr tolkien, cs lewis, or even shakespeare. would you tell them not to watch movies like star wars or the wizard of oz. i do not compare harry potter to Christ. Christ is real harry is fiction. i do however like a good story. sometimes in order to get people to read a serious book and the Bible is The MOST serious book ever wriiten as I think you would agree. you need to give them something fun to read first. I do however respect your opinion and will think and pray on it. because I would much rather my children were reading a book like harry potter than watching some of the sitcoms and even cartoons on tv today which represent some values and morals I know are wrong. john

as a Christian, a father, and a scifi/fantasy fan I have read the books and love the fact that it has gotten my children interested in reading. They are all honor roll students, they participate in the church. Almost every fantasy novel I have ever read has something to do with the fight between good and evil and before I take my children to see the movies if there is a book I make them read it first. when you do let your children read these kind of novels you should explain to them that they are just that A FANTASY. when my children read their Bibles however you need to explain that what happened was REAL. so just let them enjoy harry potter for what it is A great story, for which i thank you R.K. Rowlings. parents talk to your children about the world, don't hide it from them.

i am not a roman catholic but all main line churches have had that problem the catholic church got in trouble because they tried to cover it up. it is not fair of you to single them out. I have watched porn in the past and do not think people should not be aloud to watch it, if they are old enough to. I think the arguement here is that it should not be so easy to watch, a 10-16 yr old should not be able to turn the TV on after midnight and watch it on regular TV

these days when so many churches are being shut down because the diocese can't afford to keep them open why are we wasting time and money on property disputes, to the consevatives i say leave, worship in your homes if you have to, after a while you will be able to buy it real cheap or build a better one, if the bishop will not let you use the church for the glory of GOD shame on him. Let the liberal diocese have the empty building as reminder of thier empty faith and departure from scripture.

property is not the church it is the people in the church that make up the body of Christ, I am very upset with the episcopal church on these property disputes. give unto cearsar that which is his.

this is very unchristian of the episcopal church and i do not like it. they need to put a stop to the property disputes like the primates asked them to months ago.
On our own we are little more than bits of stone and glass. Together we are the Body of Christ. Holy Bible: Mosaic is an invitation to experience Christ in His Word and in the responses of his people. Each week, as you reflect on guided Scripture readings aligned with the church seasons, you will receive a wealth of insight from historical and contemporary writings.
