What business do Christian outreach organizations have in commenting on science topics? Do any of you have a background in science? I doubt it. Go to ICECAP.org and read what (a majority of) climatologists and meteorologists have to say about the subject. You're getting silly over this "stewardship of the earth" belief, aren't you? My version of "stewardship of the earth" is to leave the major systems alone and let God manage them.
Trying to be a scientist makes you look foolish along with the rest of the faithful. That is, besides making millions of dollars for Al Gore.

Some of these messages in here are nice and touchy-feely, just like some religions are becoming, all pink and full of flowers. The truth of it is - this guy should have been put to death on his conviction. What he did after being convicted is testimony to the foolishness of the liberals and their "if we will be nice to people they will be nice back to us". Just because they paroled him doesn't mean squat. The people on those parole boards have a shameful history of paroling perps that go back in the community and committing crimes.

I wrote the book on this due to a sexual abuse incident in my early childhood. It has haunted me all my life and affected my life in a huge way. I am now 65 and can look back on so many things in my life that were colored by this abuse. I wish it had been identified long ago. Cavalier solutions such as the final paragraph don't help. (Neither does the author's desire to be PC by using the "she" term throughout. It's really okay to use the "he" term in a genetically inclusive way.)

Amen to wsa's comment. Notice that they have been "doing" outreach for some time now. Maybe they should try something different such as Bible-based theology instead of knee-jerk, touchy-feely social doctrine. Funny, I always thought the Holy Spirit was responsible for outreach.

This whole article has such specious content it is hard to separate it all. In the first place it starts out with the GW scammers favorite word, "could". This is only one of the wiggle words they use. "Might" and "maybe" are two of the others.
The other point is that now when a natural disaster occurs it is no longer just a happiening. It is now laid to GW as the cause. Did we not have climate disasters before? Were there not droughts before?
Also, this group "Up in Smoke coalition - an alliance of the United Kingdom's major environment and development groups" I'm sure is not the most fair-minded and balanced of groups to make a determination such as this. Don't you suspect that they have a horse in this race?
If anyone is tempted to throw up your hands in desperation over our planet going "up in smoke", as it were, I would suggest that you go to a website such as www.icecap.us, read the articles on there, step back and take a deep breath and relax. God is still in charge.

I wish Christians would stick to religion and leave science alone. You end up looking like fools. Especially with Globull Smarming now that a lot of the former adherents are jumping ship as the scam is being exposed for what it is. All that is happening wth the "carbon credit" silliness is that some people (mostly Al Gore and his buddies) are making a ton of money off of the gullible.
