  • Using Ecclesiastes to Say Abortion Is a Better Alternative Than the Life Awaiting Some Babies

Thank you, you said it so simply yet so clearly. Why is this so hard to understand? Does anyone deserve to die, because others love to sin? What's wrong with us??? We act like a civilized nation but commit legal acts of agonizing torture on babies in the name of compassion.

Ministers must remember that called God them to feed His sheep, not feed on them, then they are no better than wolfs. Unfortunately statistics are probably higher as it is with pornography in leadership which dehumanizes people. The church needs a wave of repentance and each minister, whether church worker, elder or pastor needs to re-evaluate their motives for serving God or get out. Covering up predatory behavior is extremely harmful to all involved and has gone on way too long. The consequence is that we've been losing America.

I am surprised to find this article here and agree with viking. The Bible says to stay away from sorcery. Whether Harry Potter is a nice sorcerer or not, he still plays with strange fire. We either attain supernatural power from God in the Power of the Holy Spirit or demonic forces from hell. The article is well written but feels like an attempt to justify endorsing books and movies on witchcraft. The problem with it is that no matter how innocent it seems, it has the potential to pull one into the other side. As a young teenager I also began dabbling in serious witchcraft leading to years of abuse and drugs, all because my favorite TV show "Bewitched", seemed so innocent. These stories are like gateway drugs.

  • Faith Leaders Press Obama to Ban Torture on Day 1

Why aren't the Faith Leaders pressing Obama to renounce FOCA, the Freedom of Choice Act, which he promised Planned Parenthood would be his first act he'd pass, as President. This is the TORTURE of minor children, bringing back all types of brutal Abortions up to 9 months, including Partial Birth Abortions where scissors are driven into a baby's skull and his/her brains sucked out. And allowing babies who are born alive due to botched late term abortions, to be set aside without any medical care or nourishment and left to die. Science has already proven that children in the womb, are a separate and living being with their very own heartbeat and actually react to pain. What a Surprise! Mr. Abortionist Obama is all for this torture and apparently the American people who voted for him are too. Where is the VOICE of Religion now?

If it was a Maoist group that killed the Hindu leader and sparked these riots, it's probably these same groups that are keeping the killing going. The article said some of these people were paid. Maoism is communist atheism and it's only purpose has always been to destroy Judeo/Christianity.

In the Bible the prophets were always involved with the kings, to guide them according to the word of the Lord. That's how they fought battles. John the Baptist was beheaded for criticizing Herod. Jesus was killed for pointing out the hypocracy of the political Pharisees. In 1967, 41 years ago, Christians kept their mouths shut when 11 Governors decriminalized the killing of preborn babies and since then all America's biblical foundations have eroded. Now churches are finally finding their voice, and forced out of their comfort zones. We already see the problems our kids face, with God thrown out of schools and communities. If the church doesn't take a stand, then the Lord's enemies will and have. Let's not back down now. It's not about electing a Party, but how close are those we are electing holding to Biblical truths and righteousness. Jesus said we cannot serve two masters. And how can we fulfill a simple command like Jesus telling his disciples to let the little children come to him, if we decide to kill them first?

WOW, with all the great talent in America and the rest of the world why would MTV pick a "former heroin addict, sex addict, alcoholic" to host a show as a role model for our youth. Come on guys, America deserves better than that. No less a Brit who our military has defended since WWII, has the nerve to come over and insult our President, political system and faith. It's time to take his GUEST visa and kick his sorry behind back over the Atlantic. He's not welcome in my house, stop forcing rude people in our homes, Hollywood. I'm so proud of Jordin Sparks, apparently she said what most of us are too afraid to, judging by the applause.

Many of you, who are so skeptical on the strange dealings of God, may not remember your Bible stories.

Joseph was married to the daughter of an Egyptian pagan high priest. Moses, a prince of Egypt, was a murderer (and possibly had many tattoos). His staff turned into a bigger snake that swallowed up the Egyptian priest’s snakes. King Saul, danced around naked all day prophesying with the prophets. King David danced almost naked in front of everyone. When King Solomon finished the Temple of God, the priests couldn’t stand up to minister because God’s glory came in and was too strong for them.
The prophet Elisha lay on top of a dead boy 3 times, to impart life into him. When a dead man touched the bones of the Elisha, he suddenly came to life. God told Ezekiel to walk around in a loin cloth for months, and cook his food over human dung, but Ezekiel protested and God allowed him to cook over cow dung instead.
Jesus spit in a man’s eyes. Another, he put spit and mud in his eyes. Jesus took a whip against people and turned over tables in anger.
120 people in the Upper Room acted so drunk speaking in tongues, it got so much attention that 3000 became believers in Jesus that day. Doubtfully Peter’s words alone were enough to persuade them. Later, the Holy Spirit’s power was so strong that Peters shadow and cloths that had touched Paul, healed people.

Let’s face it, the Bible is the weirdest book ever written. And if we think that God only shows up when we’re piously sitting in our pews, with heads bowed and eyes closed, we are seriously mistaken. In fact, I haven’t seen that anywhere in the Bible either. I would be careful to criticize a move of God, like someone had mentioned David’s wife, Michal who did and became barren. If you really want to know what’s going on, go and experience before you curse yourselves in coming against God’s anointed through You Tube rumors. Jesus himself said beware when all men think well of you.

By the way, the Benny Hinn Ministry was given a completely clean report by Senator Grassley’s office after a thorough and expensive investigation by both the Finance Committee and IRS. Funny how no one is reporting that.

Matthew 7: 15 "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them. How long will we keep on fooling ourselves? True repentance is having sorrow over our wrongdoings and turning away from them. When will America begin to grieve over our filthy, murderous, lustful practices, instead of making excuses for them.

And to Farrah C: God warned Israel that he would allow enemies, disease, famine and finally remove them from the land he gave them, because of the shedding of the innocent blood of their own children.
To say that any situation is more heart wrenching than murdering your own offspring is irresponsible. Most people do this gross crime, because they've been taught their comfort or reputation is more valuable than this human being they don't know yet, since a professional says it's only a blob.

Abortion won't stop in America until the Church begins to grieve over the loss of so many precious gifts in the almost 50 million babies we've murdered. Fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, grandparents, it's time to grieve like we would at the loss of a family member instead of pretending all is well, and this accident never happened.

Pastors and leaders, shame on you if you feel it's more important to pamper your success, and not protect the widows and orphans.

America is slipping fast. Can you smell Rome burning?

If people calling themselves Christians, claiming they’re united with Christ but don't know what sin is, then how can they be saved from it. You may fool yourselves and other fools who want to be politically correct with you, but God will not be mocked.

Matthew 5:17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.” Jesus Christ

The reality of the situation is that no matter how many try to hide the fact, homosexuality is a taught behavior. 95% of homosexual men I've talked to through the years, admitted they were molested by other males when young, some included violent sodomy, even gang rape. The other 5% may have been too young to remember or don't consider the seduction of a minor by an already homosexual boy as molestation. Because these acts on a young victim brings so much confusion and shame, it's rarely reported, if at all. Homosexuality is often not passive or satisfied with one partner. The temptation for homosexual men or adolescent boys to develop sexual relationships with younger boys in many cases is so great, it would be irresponsible to take the chance of having even one child robbed of their innocense.

In response to PhatDajuan, through the years Taxpayers have spent billions in treatment for diseases spread through homosexuality, such as Aids, Syphyllis and other STD's. Because of the physical trauma to the human body, Homosexual men don't enjoy a long lifespan. There is also a higher than normal suicide rate.

Please consider the welfare of these boys, so they won't have to go through the hardships many of you encountered, being forced into a direction you may not have chosen to go. By allowing more young males to become targets you are also rewarding those who preyed on you.

Even though they say it's very difficult, many are choosing to leave this practice and are succeeding in turning their lives around. But often have to choose to leave their friends in their gay circles or get persecuted. What also makes it extremely hard, is when society and governments not only endorse the underlying abuse but force it to happen. And you should know what I'm talking about. If you don't then begin to ask questions of other gay men on how it first began for them. It may be a wake up call for you and the ones you love. And God may even use you to help so many other potentials, to not become victims and to the ones who have been already to be set free.

Praise God, this man asked forgiveness publically. That is the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. My hope is that this will bring healing to so many Christian marriages that live under this same bondage. For centuries women have been physically and mentally abused by their church going husbands, including those who are pastors and elders. It's been a grave hidden sin, with many women told by their leadership to put up with it, even at the risk of their lives. Only in exposing the sin, then repentance and forgiveness, can healing begin.

    To Blue1018:

Atheism, abortion and unhealthy sexual preferences have been taught in schools for years. Homosexuals now have forced a Day of Silence on school children in honor of their practice. What do you call that? I could rarely keep my young daughters quiet for 5 minutes, let alone a whole day of forced silence. School authorities have for years encouraged girls to get abortions and handed out condoms to boys instead of teaching the social, moral and health consequences of early sex. What is the result? 1 out of 4 girls in America have STD's, some cancer threatening, others causing sterility. (Thanks alot Planned Parenthood, you've really done your job well!) Before Abortion, very few girls in my school engaged in sex, we were taught the negative consequences. In addition, teens are not mentally mature enough to handle the pressure of sexual relationships, It's hard enough just to fit in. Classrooms have been teaching Atheism for years in the form of Evolution, philosophy and unproven scientific theories. Many forms of religious tolerance has been enforced. The only religion increasingly silenced and mocked is Christianity which this Country was founded on. Read your Constitution written in the "Year of our Lord". There is only ONE who goes by the title "Lord" and that's Jesus Christ. If those who hate Him had their way, this would probably be the first thing they would take out of our Constitution, pretending it was never there like so many other things that are being erased or twisted.

    Hi Old Guy,
If you're really old what value has your life really been? Why bother? You don't have much time left. And if life really means nothing than why are you working so hard to get us brainwashed but happy Christians to lose the only hope we have and that's Jesus Christ?
The difference between us is that we have made peace with our true Father, God.
Studies show most atheists have had a poor representation of an earthly father, and therefore can't see the one who really values and loves them if they'll let Him. The first step is to swallow your pride and forgive.

Back in the days of Washington and Jefferson, the Western world only knew Christianity. There were no other world religions on equal status. In those days of extreme racism and slavery, Islam, Buddism, Hinduism were all Asian religions not factored into Western thought. And one had to be Jewish to practice Judaism. Deism and Enlightenment were most likey offshoots of disenchantment with the current Christian practices, and for those who could not conceive a personal relationship with the Living God.
Many of America's laws were handed down from practices in England and reinforced with the freedom found in the Christian Bible, based on Judaic/Christian principles. When Thomas Jefferson made the famous "Seperation of Church and State" statement, he was writing a letter to the Danbury Baptist Clergy, assuring them that the new government would not establish a Federal Church such as the Church of England, squelching the free expressions of the Baptists and other forms of Christianity. There were no other religions at the time that would have even been considered, except in respect of Judaism, from which the Western world's founding guidelines came. Therefore, I agree that teachers should be repremended when they make a mockery of our history with their own biased opinions, teaching their own forms of religion in public schools instead of teaching fact.

It's about time we had a man in office who isn't a quitter and a sell out and knows how to run a race. Whoever heard of a real athlete quitting a Marathon just because he was told someone is close to the finish line but not there yet. Let's not forget the story of the Tortoise and the Hare.

We haven't seen a true hero in many years. Mike Huckabee didn't quit on his wife even when she went through years of cancer.

Already he's proving he's got the endurance to not quit on his supporters, even though he's the only Candidate having to earn his living while campaigning. And on a shoe string budget, he's still winning States. All the others are living on easy street, spending our over taxed, Taxpayer money.

To Falconer33: No way would I stifle debate, I think it's fun and also a Christians role to talk about Jesus. What I don't understand is someone who says they don't believe in God to spend so much of their life's work trying to discredit him. Yet has no problem with America worshipping a Catholic Saint like Santa Clause or any other strange money making tradition. You may say no one believes in Santa, but look how much money is poured out every December in his name. It would be alot more productive to go after the Commercial brainwashing we've endured for years through the Mega Corporations that have taught us to spoil our kids once a year to appease our guilt.

That may be off the subject, but my response still holds that people seem to be so angry at Jesus and will do all they can to even turn children away from Him.

Jesus gave us warnings, in 3 books He is recorded saying, What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Matthew 16:26; Mark 8:36; Luke 9:25.

And then recording 3 times again, Jesus said; But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Matthew 18:6; Mark 9:42; Luke 17:2.

No, I have not seen the Golden Compass or read the book or any of the others. But I was told by a reliable Family Therapist the book describes some of the worse forms of child abuse he had ever heard. In light of that, I wouldn’t want to read or have anything to do with promoting pain on children which most likely will contribute to unbalanced individuals playing out their fantasies as well as causing a very confused generation to lose more hope with a distorted view of God.

I myself grew up spoon fed on the junk taught by Freidrich Nietzsche, and his Atheist theory of Nillism, which robbed my young mind for years of all the beauty of God and Life, losing the greatest gifts of Hope, Joy, Peace and Love.

Since history proves Jesus did exist, then He did speak the above words and all I have to say, Is the cost of being right worth it?
