This has nothing really to do with the article, but what you said about Ruth being boring. I pose a question, Have you ever read Ruth?

Ruth is a story about a woman, who leaves everything she cares for, to follow an unseen God to a foreign land with her mother-in-law. Her husband died as well as her father-in-law and brother-in-law. She goes to this land trusting God with her whole heart. She then continues to trust God as well as her mother-in-law, Naomi. She provides for Naomi by gleaning fields of a man, who happens to be her kinsman-redeemer. In the end, this man pays the price for her and her mother-in-law and Boaz, kinsman-redeemer, and Ruth get married and Ruth is in the lineage of Jesus. The whole story applies to our life, we are the ones that are trusting God with our lives wherever he will take us and Jesus was our Kinsman-redeemer, who paid the price for us and we are his bride. Ruth is a VERY important and interesting book of the Bible, if you take the time to really understand what seems as just a simple story is really about. Numbers is also a an interesting book. A better example would have to be Leviticus, that takes some time to read and is a bit repetitive. Anyways I just wanted to share that with you.less

First off I would like to commend Huckabee for what he is doing by being a witness and showing Christ's love through his actions. This next part is in response to something Grace2 wrote. It doesn't make any sense. Is God not important to him any more? He can never reach the lost for Christ being a Fox Political Commentator."

I disagree with this statement. How can you say he will never reach the lost for Christ being a Fox Political Commentator? That is one of the best places to be to reach the lost. millions of non-believers see his program are exposed to Huckabee, who wheres the love of Christ on his sleeve. Saying that he can't reach the lost for Christ as a FPC is like saying Jesus couldn't reach the lost for Christ by hanging out with sinners. Jesus didn't hang out only in the synagogues, but out where people were hurting. Huckabee is reaching more people and has reached more people than he ever would if he just stayed in his comfort zone. Why are people so afraid to get their hands dirty and step out of where they feel safe? Being a Christian isn't something where we can sit in our comfort zones doing nothing, but putting ourselves out there and actively reaching out to those who are lost. And who are we to call others hypocrites, that is judging and I myself is a hypocrite at times. Why are we attacking our brothers and sisters, when we should be with them helping in fulfilling the great commission? Fighting within the Church(followers of Christ) gets us nowhere and actually hinders us from doing what God has called us too.less
