my point is proved. some of you think that tommy has never harmed anyone.
I agree with some of what you said. Those who are called by God we don't need to hurt. Well tommy hurt a lot of those that were called by God..
And I know some of the things going on there, because like I said, I know people who still do there. And no your are wrong about me changing churches for reasons like this in the past, I've never done that..
And for you to pass judment on me, when you don't know me, is wrong. I am sharing my experience with WOL, and Tommy. Just like others have done.
I guess all this was talked about tonight at church so some of you had to run here to take up for Tommy. Guess all the people who have left WOL is wrong in your eyes huh?

Not sure if aO5h was speaking to me about me being on the top of Tommy's prayer list...But if I am, that is wonderful! We all need prayer. Just to let you know he is pretty close to the top of my prayer list. once again I am not bashing Tommy at all. he is very nice. He has a way to deliver a message that not many has the talent to do. My biggest problem is the leadership of the church which he is the leader of the leadership. And also how the church has yet to accept and admit the wrongs that they have done to so many. The things that happened to my family and me was a couple of years ago. But I had coffee with a Lady last week who recently changed from going to WOL due to the same resons from 2 years ago. She was hurt by so many from that Church. And went thru a very hard time personally. From all the members who have left, I have yet to hear the leadership from that church to make 1 amends to anyone. And the wrongs have been brought before them. So the only thing left to do is pray for them. This Lady I just spoke of, had one of the Pastor's at WOL (not Tommy) say personal attacks towards her. And when she tried to talk with him about how she felt like she was wronged, he would not talk with her. She did her part. She followed what her new Pastor advised her to do. Which was to talk with this person. There are just so many stories. I find it hard to believe that the motive behind this book was spiritual. This is just my own thoughts and feelings. And I am not saying anything here that I have not either said, or at least tried to say to some at WOL. This list of the people who has left the church for these reasons is longer than the list of current active members.

I'm not sure why WOL would be building a new sacnctuary when they still have plenty of room in the one they have now.
I like other posters am a X member of WOL. I still have some very good friends that attends that Church. And there are some great and loving members there. I, like many have a problem with the leadership. Tommy Galloway can deliver a serman great! He is very good at that. And yes I do believe he has a great heart. I was a member for about 4 years, and I left about 2 years ago. And it wasn't just my family that left. Many others left as well. And I have to agree with the poster that said so many times we've heard Tommy talk about the members who left the Church and how they are following satan. That is wrong of him to say such things. With about 150 members who has left that church that I am aware of, all of these Christians can't be wrong. I would hope that this Church takes a long hard look at what is being taught there. And I would hope this Church can be big enough to accept the wrongs they have done.
As far as the Book goes, I would think it would be a good book. Tommy has a way with words that many people don't have. I will most likely not buy it, because I don't feel like the money will be spent to further God's Word...Maybe futher Galloway Ministries.
Tommy's Parents are wonderful people. And a couple others of the leadership are good Christian people. I noticed a poster talked about what a wonderful Church WOL is. But this poster has been attending WOL for 8 months. Many of us thought the same thing at 8 months into our membership there. I would like to hear from this poster 2 years down the road and see if they still have the same feelings.
My post isn't about bashing Tommy. This is my personal experience with WOL. Like I've said. Tommy is a nice guy, but so many of us was ran away from that church. And so many have been hurt from actions of some of the leadership there.
    I pray for WOL everyday.
