isaiah ch 9 says that "of the increase of HIS gov't (Jesus, not obama) there shall be NO END". atheists can take the bible and prayer out of schools, the 10 commandments off the courthouse walls, In God We Trust off the money, and every other reference to Christ out of America ........... AND YOU STILL CANT STOP JESUS, you cant even hope to contain Him, the increase of His followers will not stop, His work will continue, and make no mistake; when you take your last breath you will cease to be an atheist from that point on. stop and smell the roses, look at the miracle of life in the womb, the set order of the natural laws, creation screams of the Ancient of Days

black and homo, not trying to keep your argument going, but when he said some would not taste death until they seen the Son coming in His kingdom, heeellllooo, he was referring to the apostle John, who recieved The Revelation of Jesus Christ, the last book in your bible. Plus the same Jesus who said that also said that in the beginning God made them male and female and for THIS REASON, a man shall leave his mother and father and be united to his WIFE, and the two shall become ONE.

God didnt create anyone homosexual, God is not the author of confusion, he's a God of order not disorder. satan is the author of confusion and the father of lies. of course he wants people to live outside of God's will for their lives. God cannot act contrary to his word. ACTING on same sex desires is a CHOICE, whether or not you believe you were born gay, YOU STILL MAKE A CHOICE TO ACT UPON THOSE DESIRES. we are all born sinners, have a free will and the power to choose which way we want to go. at first we might not have a desire to choose Gods way but when we meet Christ we stand at a crossroads and must make a choice. life is full of choices, we can choose God's will, or contrary to God's will, but ultimately we must make that choice, and then be ready to give an account of them. what if people just think they were born w/ those desires and stand before the Lord and hear him say "you know my word said the enemy came to steal, kill and destroy and i had, HAD an awesome plan for your life, but you listened to the wrong voice. away from me i never knew you". I think i would sincerely pray, and whatever you feel from prayer see if it lines up w/ the Word of God, if it doesnt it wasnt the Holy Spirit, it was some other spirit w/ a lowercase "s"

not one man is above this, its a fight to the finish. we see these men of God fall by the wayside because satan has 3 objectives to kill, to steal, and to destroy. he will speak in our ears everyday, its our choice to give in and appease that voice. and each one of us, no matter who we are, give in to something the enemy says. we are not above any of this, only by the grace of God and trusting in His word, and doing our best to rely on and hear the Holy Spirit (not just listen, but hear) can we have the victory over all sins. i myself dont always hear the holy spirit, not as extreme as adultery, but sin nonetheless. and i am constantly reminded by these articles how i must fight the good fight, or i will too be defeated.

Flagged as inappropriate. show you know, i was in norfolk va this weekend to see my brother who had returned from iraq, and we went to this event called harborfest for fireworks, food, fun, etc. there was this group of "christians" who had a stand set up. the whole time they were yelling at people telling them they were going to Hell and how bad they were and condemning all of them. before they met Jesus they were condemn too. and instead of condemning others, they didnt show their gratefulness for salvation, and the love of fellow man we should show. the bible says its the grace of God that calls people to repentance. i would like to know how many people were changed positively by their message of hate, i bet a big fat 0. none of us are holier than thou. everyone is still a sinner after being saved by christ. we all fall short. even when we dont even realize sometimes, even then we fall short. that is the biggest battle of all, good vs evil, and once the holy spirit comes in that battle becomes so apparent. sometimes we have victory, sometimes we dont. but in the end, its all about Jesus. theres victory only in him, paul said our righteousness is as filthy rags. wake up and try to love on people, its not easy, but condemnation will win no one in this age we live in hide

Flagged as inappropriate. show i live near rehobeth beach delaware and it is being overrun w/ gay couples sorry if it offends you but i refuse to take my kids there now because the later in the night it gets the drunker they get and they are all over each other in public and my children dont need to see that filth. secondly mike 85 adult tv is not ok, what if that was your sister on there getting it on w/ 4 guys, how would that make you feel. and last LGBT being accepted is a joke, T stands for transexual, how is cutting your male package off and becoming a woman normal and acceptable. you gotta be kidding me. just because jesus loves everyone doesnt mean one bit that he condones this perversion. i'm tired of people saying be tolerant, the gay community is way intolerant of anyone who says they are wrong. i think its time to get a backbone and declare the truth. some people will take it as hateful, all depends on how you say it. my cousin just got married in new jersey ( he's gay). he is one of the nicest people you could meet, but that doesnt change the fact that the word of God declares that lifestyle to be perversion. i love him, but i pray somehow his eyes will open by the Holy Spirit, then again God already knows whether or not he will change. anyway, the united states of america is going down quickly. hide

i do agree on the fact that we need to get back to the word of God. we need to stress the prophetic parts of the bible and their fulfillment. but i think even more important than that is that young kids need to be in an atmosphere where they can feel the tangible presence of the Lord. when they experience first hand His presence, the Glory of God, their lives will instantly change and they will be faced w/ the ultimate crossroad. when God reveals Himself we have to make a decision. and unfortunately, sadly, many many churches do not have an environment where God can show up and move by His Spirit.

what i also meant to write was that some say they can pray in tongues at any time and others say only when compelled by the Holy Spirit, and for me, for example, if i am riding in my car by myself and speak what came out that day in church doesnt sound real, but in church when i can feel His presence that day felt real and true, look forward to your insight.

weekenderman, read your bible. and prophet, i have a question for you. several weeks ago we had a powerful service, and the presence of the Lord was overwhelming and for the first time i prayed in the Spirit. i remember what i prayed and how it sounded. now do i continue to just say that over and over when i pray until more comes out, because it was short, and i've heard others and it sounds long and fluent like, but what i prayed the first time was short, and also when it happened the presence of the Lord was so strong, but when i'm at home and have prayed the same thing again it just seems like its not as real because i cant feel the power of his presence, i know this sounds funny to some on here, but what happend was real, but how do i keep going?

i come to expect these comments everytime i read anything on here.what did Jesus say to the woman caught in the act of adultery. how about the scripture that says that the call of God is without repentence, meaning if he's called you, he's called you. there's no condemnation in Christ, but there is in the church, none of us are so holy to be above any of this, even paul said that the good he wanted to do he could not do, but things he didnt want to do he did and said who will save me from this body of death, i agree that he should have been removed, but he's a man, and he can be restored, not right away, it would definately take a little time, and accountability will be raised because of it, but none of us should be condemning him, what happened to the cliche "what would Jesus do" to handle this and how would he treat this brother in the Lord.

for those of you who like to condemn everything other christians do, idle to live, christian music and music in general is a gift of God, satan has perverted most of it, but i know tons of bands, groups, and single christian artists who are definately called of God and minister through music, and its a blessing to hear them, and its a blessing to know the over 20,000 young people are gonna share it together. Praise God they arent listening to the garbage on secular radio and doing drugs and robbing people and degrading women and you know what you should be ashamed of yourself and w/ the measure you judge them you will be measured, your self righteousness sounds like the pharisees and turns people especially young people away from the Lord. where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom, and he came that we may have life and have it more abundantly, praise God for freedom, and praise God for music, christian music and he will bless the people involved as well as the people behind the festival.

instead of forming their own beliefs by what they think is right, try opening a bible and asking the Holy Spirit to open our hearts and seek the truth by His Word, not by what we think. John Flanagan you hit the nail on the head my friend.

the church needs to fully return to 3 things, 1- prayer, 2- get a true passion for the word of God, 3- getting into the presence of the Lord in corporate & private worship. forget who is in the room, enter into the most Holy Place and press in towards God and He will minister by His Spirit. where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom. get into the Presence of God. don't close the door on the Holy Spirit, open the door and invite Him in and He will come. if in your church the people don't worship, trully worship, its time to find a new church, a Spirit filled church where lives are impacted and changed by the presence of the Holy Spirit.

to all my catholic brothers and sisters, sorry to inform you but peter and mary both were pentecostal as they both along w/ 118 others were filled w/ the Holy Spirit and spoke w/ other tongues as the Spirit gave the utterance. i only said that to say this, take off your denimonational glasses and read the book of Acts. its not about catholic, protestant, its about the blood bought children of the King of kings and Lord of lords. he said ALL that believe on Him shall not perish, key word ALL, not just catholic or protestant but those who receive HIM by faith and live accordingly. i wonder who this just stirred up.

first of all Jesus did say that "in the beginning God made them MALE AND FEMALE AND FOR THIS REASON a man shall leave his mother and father and be united to HIS WIFE and the two shall become one flesh". secondly, as the creator he did not create a man to grow older and reject his gender have his balls cut off and become a woman. i think the cliche question "what would Jesus do?" comes in handy here, i do not believe Jesus would have sex w/ a man, nor do i think Jesus would have his balls cut off and his stuff rearranged to be a woman. i dont know what spirit is guiding these people, but it sure isnt the HOLY SPIRIT.
