Went to a church in St Paul.....The Hannah Montana worship show lasted about an hour.....few sang and people stood the entire time......After which Hannah talked about how awesome worship was.....It was another church where the 40 something preacher tries to appeal to 20 somethings. We lasted 3 weeks.

I'm of the Pentacostal/Charismatic persuasion and have had much exposure to the prosperity/word of faith movement. I have been blessed to have spent 10 years listening to John Piper preach Romans and other topics. Too say that my time at Bethlehem Baptist Church is perhaps the greatest time of Christian growth and joy in my 45 years of following Jesus would be an understatement.

It is nothing more than the buying and selling of God's goodness and mercy. Is it any different from the sale of indulgences. These prosperity ministers seem to end up extremely wealty from the sacrifices and gifts of God's people.

Same old stuff; jets, vacation homes here and there. Good friends from other prosperity ministries overseeing your church.

The Body of Christ in the metropolitan city in which I live has many needs. Our very prominent local TV prosperity preacher has the requisite, vacation homes in Florida, jets, lake homes etc. and he's "overseen" by the Copelands

It is time to say, enough of this nonsense. Who is going to stand and say enough. I wish they would ALL just go away. This continuing behavior is an embarrassment.

I am an Oral Roberts University graduate and my beloved alma mater is going through the process of cleaning up the fruit left by the WOF and prosperity preachers.

Kenneth Copeland calls himself a bilionaire, that must be important to him. Other ministers are concerned with missions and evangelism....some die for the cause of .Jesus Christ....I know what is imporant to them. I know who I will follow.
