To my brothers and sisters in Christ: It is not God's will that we abdicate our role as salt and light in this evil time. I used to feel the same way, if no candidate was running that I was completely happy with. This is exactly what the enemy wants us to do!!! As long as we are here, we are to be a restraining force in regard to evil. We MUST vote!! 2nd Thessalonians speaks of a "great apostasy" that will occur prior to Jesus' return for us, but we are still to be salt and light. Obama represents this apostasy in it's fullest sense.

I for one, cannot believe this story! How is it possible that so many believers could give their approval to the most liberal democratic senator? This man has no problem with allowing aborted babies that survive to be left to die alone in dirty utility room!! I realize McCain isn't everything we'd hope for, but come on, this is truly a no brainer!

This is really a no brainer. It's not necessary to pray about who to vote for. Obama is the most pro death candidate out there. That alone tells us all we need to know.

Quecat: How strange! One would think folks that are not of like mind could find more pleasant things to do than argue with the views of Christians on a Christian website. Doesn't make sense to me, but I'm simple.

Oh MY!! Can the anti-Christ be far behind?? Read the article and consider Saudi Arabia's position as the 2nd most dangerous country in the world in which to be a Christian.

AMEN!! As a believer who has a lot of dross to be burned away, I am seriously concerned for our nation. Those that are serious about following Jesus need to get back to basics. There are too many apostasies going on that are major compromises to our culture. There is an internationally known Theological insitute in this country that teach contrary to the scriptures in several areas in order to be "politically correct" at least that appears to be their motive! Its time for the Church to purify itslef, so God doesn't have to! Jesus is coming back soon!

Too bad!! Just when we were tempted to think this government had a heart. They did a great job handling the earthquake tragedy, and then wipe out those gains with their demonic hatred of the truth. Don't they realize their Christians are the most law abiding people in their country?

My comment is not about the story, but about the comments. As a believer and new to this website, I am appalled at some of the ungodly garbage I've read. If the authors are not Christians, there are loads of other venues for them to voice their views. If they choose to comment, it is not too much to ask for them to be respectful in their writing.

How disapointing! I can't say that I'm surprised. Jimmy Carter, who established Habitat has become increasingly liberal over the years. Note his recent attempt to negotiate with Israel's enemies. Carters world view may surprise many folks who assume he is a conservative Christian with Biblical views.
