@ifeelfine72. You mentioned the lack of a basic understanding of science that some posters show. How about this: people walking on water defies every scientific law. Turning water into wine, feeding thousands of people with a limited ammount of food, healing blindness with one touch- all of this is scientifically impossible. But why do Christian evoultionists chose to take those parts of the Bible 'literary'? Maybe Jesus' ressurection is just a poetic expression of the gospel writers who tried to stress out the importance of hope, or whatever, because - do I even need a basic understanding of science to conclude that dead people cannot come to life miraculously?

Very very true. I have heard of some young people losing their faith after starting their university degree, being confronted with so much science. I can say that especially after joining the university and examining the theory of evolution, my faith in the Bible has been strengthened even more.

as an archaeologist I am absolutely mortified that anyone could seriously believe in the accuracy of the dating methods. I have been studying it for years and it is one of the biggest jokes that exists.
