If you believe in Yeshua then as a believer you should pray for these people. Hebrew Jews are the chosen people of God. I am a goyim and as such I'm a child of the chosen who is fortunate to eat the scraps that have fallen from my Master's table. I pray for these people. I love these Jewish people and I have a desire for them to see their Messiah who is Yeshua. They burn what they don't understand. Blinders have been put over their eyes. Saul was blind until his eyes were opened. If people are "scared" of christianity it is because of christians. Some believers are hated because they hate the Messiah Yeshua. Some are hated because they are hateful people and not the children of the promise. If this mayor has apologized, he may have done so haring the Spirit of God whispering to his heart.
