Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. (JN 8:32)
We do not know if someone tried to contact JH about this article or not. He is busy with the CUFI meeting. We would not hear anything new if they had gotten in touch with him. It is pretty clear where he stands. He has boldly said what his views are. All one has to do is search out the CUFI web site and know. No one really needs to interview him.
After Jesus was resurrected EVERYONE had access to salvation, including the Jews. There is nowhere that supports the fact that the Jews are being held up for salvation so we can be saved. If that was the case not one Jew would ever have come to Christ. Thousands of Jews were saved within a week after Pentecost. Jews over the centuries have come to Christ. How is their salvation being held up? It is not. Those Jews that believe in Christ are saved, many at great sacrifice and persecution. Some in Israel pay with their lives. Now their government has officially said that they could be punished for being Christians. A good number of them are on TV trying to reach others for Christ. Jews for Jesus has been around for many years. Many messianic congregations exist around the world. Their salvation is not being held up for the non-Jew or the Bible is full of lies. If you read the word carefully just about every Christ said in the word was said to Jewish people. Thus Christ to the Jew first. Many received Him and many rejected Him.
The idea that God would sacrifice a people for another in order for them to be saved contradicts the price of Christ. It says that His sacrifice was not enough. Because of this many Jews had to go to hell so I could be saved. That is heresy. The Bible clearly says that Jesus paid the price for all. If the price has been paid it has been paid. The Bible says that ALL who believe in Him will be saved. It did not say that God would harden the hearts of the Jews so that we can be saved. That is a gross misinterpretation of those verses. Even if anything was going on like that, it happened before Christ made His precious sacrifice. After that ALL have the ability to be saved. If anyone believes otherwise they are calling Christ a liar or the word of God fables and myths. It is clear what Christ said about all of this. All people have to do is to read.less
The perversion of 'loving the Jew first' has caused hatred towards fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Tell me where that is supported anywhere. This has nothing to do with loving the Jews at all. To say that one has to be a part of that heretical madness to 'love the Jew first' is at best confused and illiterate in the Scriptures. Things changed with Jesus. Any group or movement that is formed that totally ignores EVERYTHING that Christ said relating to it is doomed.less

I have no problem with supporting efforts for them to keep the land. I feel that is Biblical and quite frankly fun to watch God move on behalf of their land. However this has NOTHING to do with the policies of their government. Israel is supposed to be a democratic government BUT has chosen as a government to officially persecute Christians. Saying nothing about that fact is disobeying the word. The Bible says to do nothing to offend the nations, the Jews and the church. Being quiet while any government persecutes any people because of their faith should be denounced by Christians.
Calling other followers of Christ terrorists I think is a bit much and reveals the lack of love for fellow believers that this new move of loving Israel has produced. It also twists what was said. It was correctly stated that Palestine is not a true nation. It has also been stated that Palestine is anti-Christ. Whether the nation is a true nation or not is one thing. To lump all the people and say they are anti-Christ is the very judgment that we are warned about in Scripture. It has been proven time and time again there are true followers of Christ amongst the 'Palestinians'. What I will NEVER ACCEPT is the hostility towards all Arabs and fellow Christians that this new move of loving Israel has produced. There is no mercy shown for them at all EVEN THOUGH Christ's precious blood was shed for them. I will boldly ask, "Have those that have hostility towards them forgotten how Christ rescued them from hell?" We must remember that many of these people have never heard anything about Christ and His goodness. What do you expect people that have never heard the Good News toi act like? Think about what we might have been like had we been born in those nations. I truly think that these folks have lived so much in the Old Testament that they have forgotten the power of their salvation and the desperate need that Jews and Muslims both need.less
The issue is not loving the Jews. The issue is supporting their government when they are dead wrong. Saying that they are wrong is not being unloving to them. Not supporting those decisions is not unloving. It is standing up for the gospel. Loving the Jews and supporting their government are two different issues. Loving the Jews and supporting their government are two different issues. If we sanction or enable persecution of our bronthers and sisters in Christ to love the Jews we are wrong. God is no respecter of persons. Paul said that there is neither Jew nor Greek....we are one IN CHRIST. The Godhead loves every person, including the Jews. Jesus paid the price for all people, including the Jewish people. Jesus said that they must come through Him to get to the Father. Jesus also said in John that those that hate Christ hate the Father. The Israeli government hates real Christians and are willing to see them punished.
This is NOTHING against Jewish people, just their government. We do not have this attitude about any other government, just Israel. The people are another matter altogether. We can NEVER sell out our faith to 'love' anyone. We are Christians. Christians share their faith. To accept being silent about our faith is a very dangerous compromise. Man pleasers are not high on God's list.
Another problem is the contempt that CUFI leaders fosters against other Christians. Threatening Christians by saying that they are not saved because they do not accept their heresy is not Christian. That is NEVER the heart of God nor would Jesus approve of division of any kind. Wishing Israel's enemies dead with no effort of showing mercy because of JESUS CHRIST is wrong. It spits in the eye of the precious sacrifice that Christ made for every human being.
We should love ALL people, including the Jews. We should do what we can to help them retain their land. HOWEVER the abusive language that a couple of the main players of CUFI uses does not make this an easy task. Also supporting decisions made by their governement that punishes Christians just for being Christians need to be loudly screamed against. This would be a denail of Christ IMHO. Christ said that if we deny Him before men that He would deny us before the Father. I'm not taking that chance.less
I agree with this article whole heartedly. It is most agregious to support a country that persecutes our fellow brothers and sisters. I have a dear friend that is a part of CUFI. I agree with this article whole heartedly. It is most agregious to support a country that persecutes our fellow brothers and sisters. I have a dear friend that is a part of CUFI. I'm very concerned about him and those involved. I do not support the idea of replacement theology when it comes to Israel. HOWEVER these people believe that they have a special way to God through following the law outside of Christ. That I will never support. You have to ignore most of the NT in order to believe that. When I confront my friend about all of this he is silent. They are living in the OT where they hate the enemies of Israel. You see no compassion or love for fellow Christians in the region at all.
They totally ignore that recently the government has officially told the world that Christians cannot practice their faith in order to have a relationship with them. They also ignore that one sect of Judiasm bury their relatives alive if they convert to Christ. I'm sure if I know this even though I follow this very little they know about it. They say nothing at all because they twist the verse that says that we are not to offend the church, the Jews or the nations. They are facilitating the persecution of Christians.
If you listen carefully at how CUFI and some of the main proponents say that you MUST love Israel or be cursed. They used an OT scripture reference about judgment. Bascially you love Israel or else. That is using compulsion and fear to get support for their cause. That is NEVER true love but an ultimatum. They also accuse Christians that do not believe how they do (their view of loving Israel) you are not saved. This is not the spirit of the gospel.
I pray to God that the leaders of CUFI get back to the Bible and what Jesus said about all of this. Nothing that Jesus said refutes the promises of the land by God to them. However the other stuff they preach about the Jews being right with the Father by following the law is heresy and a serious perversion of loving someone. This is the same madness that Bishop Carlton Pearson is promoting. If you say that one does not need Christ to have access to the Father it is heresy.less

Until our leaders, including sad to say our president, get their heads out of the sand and LISTEN to what these people are telling us time and time again we will continue to read these articles and scream out the best we can in the media. In war time you are told that in order to conquer your enemy you must know them. We hardly have to spy on them to find out what they are planning because they plainly tell us in audio and video. Why our leaders refuse to believe what they say AFTER MANY ATTACKS here and overseas I will never know.
I guess the fact that people in this country cannot understand how people can be so committed to their faith. This is why many people, especially secularists, cannot believe that people would have a faith that tells them to murder people with the slight chance of maybe making it to heaven. They cannot accept the fact that people have faith in something that they are willing to kill and die for. I feel this is the bottom line. We may refuse to say that we are in a religious war but we are. They plainly tell us that they have declared war on any nation that is not Islamic. Only the power of the Holy Spirit and might of God will fix this because our leaders refuse to listen at this point.less
This issue is cloaked as hate crimes. However the true issue as mentioned in this article is to shut up people that just read or speak what the word says about sin, mainly the sin of homosexuality. This issue is cloaked as hate crimes. However the true issue as mentioned in this article is to shut up people that just read or speak what the word says about sin, mainly the sin of homosexuality. I am African American. My former pastor Bishop Carlton Pearson is one of the main leaders of this madness. I have audio where he spoke at the rally at Capitol Hill during the debate in the House. He specifically said that he felt that preaching against homosexuality should be made illegal because it is as lethal as a preacher pulling out a gun and shooting people. Do not fool yourself. These 'Christian' ministers want to shut up anyone that reads the word about homosexuality. Preaching the word will eventually become a hate crime because of its loose description in the bill. You could have a fool attend a church service where a preacher speaks the truth about homosexuality and then kills someone using that sermon. The relatives of that unfortunate victim will probably use the hate crimes bill to come after the pastor even though he said nothing about committing violence against homosexuals. It will not end with dealing with violent crimes. It will end with the persecution of the church. Make no mistake about it.less
