    For one thing, I don't think any message can be explicitly taken from the bible, most of the lessons are open to extreme interpretation

    No matter what the medium or the theme of the message coming into your home, it cannot be evil if it is the truth. The world has always had evil in it, but, while the recent decrease in censorship in the media has been refreshing, it has also allowed a younger generation to witness the harsh truths of the outside world. But, you cannot hide these facts away from your children. Because if they do not learn to deal with them while they are under a parents watch, theres no telling how it will effect them when they are out in the real world.
