I saw this yesterday and I gasped at what happened. Sorely last night I had tears in mourning for this event. Why? For his wife and children most of all...who knew the man beyond the pulpit at home more intimately. The friend, father, coach, spiritual leader, and husband. --Then there is the sheep of the congregation.
I so pray for the congregation to see such an event. Many tragedies as such can shake the faith of many people...questioning God in the incident. Though there has been no release or knowledge of the conversation before his death. It is an honor and testimony that his bible WAS in his hand before the first round...as his only defense. Furthermore, that he was sheparding people for Gods kingdom and preaching the gospel of the kingdom as Jesus said do.
- My prayers go out for the sheep both congregation and his family in such an event abrupt and vulnerable to the hearts of many people. May God richly comfort all in this situation and may the prince of peace do his work mightily.

I just want to lift up their families in this time of mourning. - I pray that senseless killings like these spar the fuel for righteousness. I pray a voice reaches the Iraqi parliment for the voice of christ to be heard amongst the people.

He alleges that since the older Kings James Version containing the term "homosexuals" is used by his family pastor, he has been outcast by his family.

The 39-year-old is suing the Grand Rapids publisher for compensation of 20 years of "emotional dress and mental instability," he told WOOD-TV in Grand Rapids.

What did Jesus say/do.

- My mother, brother, and sister are those who do the word of God.

- Forgive others thier tresspasses as he forgives us,

- 1 Corinthians 6:4 states "If you then have judgments concerning things pertaining to this life, do you appoint those who are least esteemed by the church to judge?"

-Isnt blaming other people for what they do..close to the spirit of Ahab.

- What happened to the men of Sodom who tried to assault the angels in Lot's house?

What happened to the men of Gibeah who tried to come after the Levite in Judges 19-- They were part of the tribe of israel

- I would believe this is where Paul drew references to.

- Jesus was condemed by the Jews...his own people

This man doesnt need 70,000,000

He needs deliverance and to read more of the bible.

One man cannot take the justification of a nations misunderstanding of the true relationship with Christ and God.

Thats like the pot calling the kettle black.

America's Christianity isn't Acts: 2
Neither is the church...

We are supposed to covet to prophesy...Exhort, Edify, and Comfort....to build up to help the glorifcation of God.

But people rebuke for EGO...thats not CHRIST...thats what John called the "Pride of Life." Put down someone else for your lifting up.

What about Large congregations? Jesus taught 12.
Whats the quality of 10,000..members who need to be sharpened by not just the word of Christ but seeing him in relationship.

A book, CD, Video...can't always do it. A father(Shepard) can't always teach his son from talking on the phone.

The bible also says: Dont speak down upon the authorities I have set before you. That includes presidents...So many would have fallen from Bush.
