Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. (JN 8:32)
Hey John Knight, never apologize for scripture. It is good to quote men if what they say is true. You notice my name is "quote me." I believe is speaking truth and when you are quoted down the road about something you say there are no regrets. IIt is evem better when men quote God, because every one of His Words are THE TRUTH.
Christians are supposed to come under the headship of those who have been God called to be their shepherds. The shepherds are under the headship of God the Father. We must be submissive, not rebellious and mad if we want today's church to be whole and cured.
Jos 22:22 -
The LORD God of gods, the LORD God of gods, he knoweth, and Israel he shall know; if it be in rebellion, or if in transgression against the LORD, (save us not this day,)
1Sa 15:23 -
For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.
I read this news story on this site tonight. The title drew me in and I read the article. I scrolled on down here to comments and found there seems to be more to the story. This guy seems to be trying to help the Body by writng a book with a message that will possibly bring the Church back to where Christ meant for us to be, at the cross. Why on earth would a Christian, mad or otherwise, do anything negatiive to try to stop this? It seems to me the poster who keeps using the word poster in the vey negative comments abiout a man of God are all sent by the same person. (touch not the man of God) It is also obvious that these people in this church really love this man. Get over it. Go back to your corner. Take off your boxing gloves. Buy the book. Read the book. If God has big plans for this book no one can stop it. God is in contol of all things, even mad Christians. I plan to pick up a copy just to see for myself if Mr. Galloway is who he says he is. I believe he is.
On our own we are little more than bits of stone and glass. Together we are the Body of Christ. Holy Bible: Mosaic is an invitation to experience Christ in His Word and in the responses of his people. Each week, as you reflect on guided Scripture readings aligned with the church seasons, you will receive a wealth of insight from historical and contemporary writings.
