  • Pastors: Multi-Site Churches About Evangelism, Not Numbers

I don't understand why people have to jump straight to talking the mega church and/or the multi-site can become all about the pastor's ego??? The there is the question of are people coming to hear about Jesus or are they just drawn by the "facy audio"! Come on, are you kidding me...is that really the question to be asking here. We will never know what motives ANY pastor has and that is not something we have been charged to worry about. Lets praise God for the pastors who are leading churches that are making an impact on their community and lets dig in and learn all that we can from them. The two edged sword is pastors who sit back and evaluate and judge those who are making an impact, but sit back and make none in their own community. When will people get it that the church is not the building where people meet on Sunday morning? God's word is God's word whether it is coming from a man on a video screen or standing behind a pulpit. GO, GO, GO and make disciples!

On our own we are little more than bits of stone and glass. Together we are the Body of Christ. Holy Bible: Mosaic is an invitation to experience Christ in His Word and in the responses of his people. Each week, as you reflect on guided Scripture readings aligned with the church seasons, you will receive a wealth of insight from historical and contemporary writings.
