Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. (JN 8:32)

Wowie said: "They were all willing to die for their faith. If Jesus had not been resurrected, the disciples would have known it. People will not die for something they know to be a lie. The fact that all of the apostles were willing to die horrible deaths, refusing to renounce their faith in Christ, is tremendous evidence that they had truly witnessed the resurrection of Jesus Christ."
So you are saying that if the disciples had NOT seen the resurrection of Jesus Christ, they would have GIVEN UP their faith in Jesus. I don't think so. I've heard all of these things before as "evidence" for you faith. Face it, your faith is blind, just like the faith of Muslims. :)

Weekenderman, do you think that a non-divine man could have these three things apply to him. Could a non-divine man live in Judea in the first century? Could he be hung on a cross? Could his body be removed from a tomb?
1) Jesus Christ was a real person who lived in Judea in the first century,
2) Christ was hung on a cross to die,
3) Christ's tomb was empty."

wowie,
One of the paragraphs you pointed to as evidence was,
"There is no faith on the planet that can match the mountains of evidence that exist for Christianity. From the voluminous number of ancient manuscripts, to the very early dating of the documents written during the lifetime of the eyewitnesses (some only 15 years after Christ’s death), to the multiplicity of the accounts (nine authors in 27 books of the New Testament), to the archaeological evidence—none of which has ever contradicted a single claim the New Testament makes—to the fact that the apostles went to their deaths claiming they had seen Jesus in action and that He had come back from the dead, Christianity sets the bar in terms of providing the proof to back up its claims. The New Testament’s historical authenticity—that it conveys a truthful account of the actual events as they occurred—is the only right conclusion to reach once all the evidence has been examined."
What in this statement is proof to you that the Christian God is not man-made?

wowie, please give one example starting with the three statements that convinced you that your religion can't be man-made. Just one example please.

wowie, what is it about the three statements below that prove to you that Jesus was a supernatural being (God)?
1) Jesus Christ was a real person who lived in Judea in the first century,
2) Christ was hung on a cross to die,
3) Christ's tomb was empty.

wowie, would you like to summarize what convinced you that Christianity is not man-made?

weekenderman,
If you lived in a Muslim nation, you would have had a "religious experience" with the Muslim God. Obviously you don't think Islam is true. Can't you then reach the conclusion that Christianity is also man-made?

weekenderman, feelings can be misleading. You can't base whether or not a religion is real based on how good it feels. It feels right to be a Muslim. So much so that some will blow themselves up for their God.

Danial Paul: "Watch the youtube then ask. Keep in mind this is just a 3 minute snipit."
The snipit that I saw never mentioned Christianity. The question is not if there is a god or gods. The question is, "How do you know that your religion is not man made?". I could just as easily write a book, say that it is a religion, and get people to follow it. That doesn't make it true. Christianity is not the only religion in the world. Obviously you don't believe other religions are true. What convinced you that your religion is not man made? Do you automatically believe that the religion that is dominant in the society where you live must be true?

Danial Paul, can you point to something that convinced you that without doubt, your faith is NOT man made?

Danial Paul, you realize how misguided people are when they blow themselves up in the name of their god. And yet you think that your god is real. Have you ever considered that maybe your god is man made?

What is this balance stuff you are talking about. I have SSA but choose to live a celibate lifestyle. I'm also not a Christian. What are you talking about?

Yes some homosexuals choose not to act on it. I am one of them. But the definition of a homosexual is a person who has SSA.
