He made be liberal/left-wing socialist cultural Christian, but certainly not a biblical one. He will be greeted by Satan, the Devil, The Evil One or whatever name you may choose to use when he dies just like Hiter, Tojo, Mussolini, Kruschev, Stalin, Castro and others. He is not saved. He is total disgrace to the Southern Baptist Convention. He believes in abortion, gay marriage, sodomy, euthanasia for the elderly, genocide of the disabled, and is very anti-Israel (pro-Muslim) and even denies the Holocaust. I will say he might be a good pea-NUT farmer. He fits the bill!less
As a Southern Baptist, I sincerely trust that this resolution is not brought to the floor and if so, voted unanimously down. We as Southern Baptists are NOT racists, but to commend a man who supports the killing of the unborn, who endorses gay marriage, who capitulates to the Muslim world, whose brother claims he is a Muslim, who refuses to show a valid copy of his birth certificate, who espouses the most liberal/left-wing/socialist/communist views since the "peanut farmer president" who called himself a Southern Baptist is anathema. We need to take a stand, pray for his salvation, and start now to elect a real man of God in 2012!less

Unfortunately, even many "Christian" colleges do not stand true to the Word. Bible believers must support this organization with their prayers, attendance at the museum and finances just as they support any mission work.less

I thank God for the stand that Liberty University has taken. As a graduate of Cedarville University, I am appalled at the drift to liberal theology and immoral standards that Cedarville has taken recently under President Bill Brown. Students drink alcohol openly in the college dorm reception rooms, but it is allowed because it is "near beer" (5%). However, the students who spoke to recent high school students visiting the campus said that all they did was pour real beer into the "empties" of the "near beer." Faculty members openly advise students that "We assured that the words of the Bible are as they were given by God, but we cannot be certain they are what they say." This was stated to two students who have left Cedarville when they were questioning their salvation's certainty and concerned about their sexual orientation. Solid Bible professors and others are being either termined and/or pushed out of the school. A Catholic university professor who believes in the Emergent Church was allowed to speak in chapel four days in a row. I could go on and on, but thankfully Liberty is standing for the truth.less
This is another example of the "end times" described in the Book of the Revelations. Biblical orthodoxy is being slowly eroded by a mixture of liberalism and non-Christian religions. Believers need to be looking up for the Rapture to occur at any time. Obama could be the anti-Christ since he uses the name Messiah.
This is another example of the "end times" described in the Book of the Revelations which describes the apostasy that will overwhelm the world. The lines between biblical orthodoxy and liberalism and now the cults have been eroding for years. Time for true believers to be looking up for the Rapture of the Church.

Frankly, I am thrilled to see him go. I am sure he will find acceptance with his ilk in the National Council of Churches and other EINO (Evangelical In Name Only) organizations. An excellent replacement for him would be Rick Warren.less

From what I have been told by relatives in the Greater Los Angeles area who have attended services when Rev. Robert A. Schuller was preaching and they felt that he was sharing an undiluted Gospel message calling people to "accept Christ as Savior". This is certainly different from his father the Rev. Robert H. Schuller. Perhaps we can differentiate between the two with Robert A. being thought of as the one who preaches "an AUTHENTIC
GOSPEL" and the father Robert H. who preaches a "HERETICAL
GOSPEL." For too long, good Christians have been duped by Robert H. with his "feel good", "be good" and "look ggood" religion, whereas his son seeks to raise high the
Cross of Christ and Him Crucified, Risen and Coming Again. He preaches that salvation comes through faith,
plus nothing. Let all true believers pray for Robert A. that he will remain strong, not be intimidated by his dictatorial father, be true to the Word of God, and God will hold him up. Let the "old man" be turned over to Satan!less
Congratulations, Gideons! Your service in Bible distribution for 100 Years demonstrates your continued faithfulness to the God of the Bible. May you be able to continue to function in spite of Barak Hussein Obama's pledge to close you down if elected president. Christians need to wake up!

Most of them believe in salvation by doing or being good, do not accept the Virgin Birth of Christ, His Substitutionary Atonement on the Cross (they call Christianity a bloody religion), the Inspiration of Scripture, the Resurrection, the Rapture, nor the Second Coming. They do not accept that Hell is a real place. In other words, they do not believe the Bible. Too bad...they had better start reading it...it'll scare the hell out of them...oops, they don't believe in Hell but use the word in their swearing, while they are drinking and smoking in front of their parishoners while making arrangements to meet with some local "lady of the night" to learn about the "social ills" of the unfortunate. I have heard them say this myself and I am quoting them...a former Methodist.less

They most often are promoting the liberal/socialist viewpoints of the Democrats and the IRS has NEVER ONCE stepped in, therefore, why should the IRS clamp down on conservatives? If they start, conservative churches should file law suits against the IRS on the basis on discrimination as a first case basis and "past practice" or lack of such as secondary basis. I am frankly tired of see Obama signs in liberal, mostly black churches, in this area both inside the building and on the outside. By the way, race has nothing to do with it. The same churches opposed Ken Blackwell, a conservative born-again Christian, for Governor in 2006 and had their signs and rallies for Strickland. What is good for the goose should be goose for the gander!less
There are two things to consider here. The first, of course, is the abortion issues. Many non-Christians are against abortion. Therefore, a true Christian could NEVER be for abortion. A true Christian could NEVER support anyone (Christian or not) who supports it. Would a Christian support killing a baby two days after birth? I think not. The second issue is more subtle. Only one of the candidates has given a clear concise statement (especially at the Saddleback Forum) as to his personal salvation in Jesus Christ alone. That person is John McCain. He attends a Baptist Church that teachers salvation by grace alone through faith alone. Hussein Obama uses the term "Christian" in a generic sense, attends a church that supports homosexual marriage AND abortion and does not recognize the Deity of Christ. It is a pantheistic congregation. In addition, IF he had become a Christian, he would no longer carry the name Hussein as that is a Muslim name and Muslims seek the execution of anyone leaving the Muslim faith. It is clear he is no Christian in the biblical sense. He is just lucky to live in a Christian nation. Also, if he were a Christian, why does he allow his own brother to live in a hut in African making about a dollar a month and admits he has never helped him financially. A Christian conservative group is raising money to help him obtain a mechanics' education which he wants desperately. Enough for Hussein's statement about helping the poor. He won't even help his own family. He belongs in hell!less

He is against gay marriage and abortion. Senator Barak Hussein Obama claims to be a "Christian" but what does that mean to him. It is well-known in the Muslim religion that men take the name Hussein when they become a Muslim. He has NEVER dropped the name. Also, once a person who was once Muslim becomes a Christian, Jew, Buddhist or any other religion, he is a target for execution. Obama has never been executed or even considered for such by the Muslim world. Therefore, he is still a Muslim. By the way, I am NOT advocated execution for anyone leaving the Muslim religion, just stating the facts as they are. He has no compassion for the poor or the down-trodden as he claims. His own brother lives in an African hut and earns approximately $1 per month. Obama has never sent him any help in any way according to his brother. There is a Christian conservative group that is currently collecting money to be sent to his brother for him to go to school to become a mechanic (which he wants to do) and has already raised over $3,000 for him. Shame on Obama and especially any so-called Christian who would even consider voting for him. Do we forget the scoundrel so-called Christian Baptist president Jimmy Carter. What a farce! By the way, I am a Baptist and wish Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, Al Gore and all the other liberal socialist left-wing Democrats who say they are Baptist who stop the farce. They hurt good Christians everywhere.less

I consider my Southern Baptist and would like to share that the SBC is deluding themselves if they think they can "retake the public schools for Christ." As a retired public school educator I was able to see first hand how the system has so totally been saturated by the far left agenda in every way that only a fool would think it can be "taken back." The best that could be done would be to slow down the total drift to total immorality. When a school principal states when one reports two students in a corner having intercourse "Well, we cannot infringe upon their right to freedom of expression" we have crossed the mark. Yet, please do not allow Christian t-shirts, prayer meetings, the Bible or anything else religious to occur in a public school. We cannot even decorate in green and red at Christmas as those colors might "offend" Muslims. Too bad. God must be very disappointed in the SBC for their timidity. I wonder if those fathers or mothers would vote the same when it is their daughters literally being raped in a school building dark corner!less
