Are you kidding me? "beckyg" you need to go back and re-read the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, specifically Gen 19:4 - 19:13, where it tells of the "men of the city" seeking to have relations with the 2 (angelic) men that came unto Lot's house. These "men"of the city weren't interested in Lot's daughters, only the men. If that ain't homosexual desire then I don't know what is.

Regarding your other point: No homosexuality may not be pedophelia, it is deviant sexual behavior as is sex with minors and sex with animals and just as Porn distorts sexual truth and behavior, so does homosexuality.

There is only one form of procreation that was ordained and approved by God and two people of the same sex in a "consensual" relationship, are in the wrong. Go read Leviticus, it right there, spelled out quite litterally that man shall not lay with a man as he does a woman. Christ's presence on our earth did not negate that mandate from His and our Father. Try as you might, you will not successfully justify your perverted activities to right-minded individuals or more importantly, Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit.

Hmmm...so Billy Graham, who has preached the same message of hell and repentance for over 40 years, and led thousands to Jesus Christ, as has Greg Laurie and Franklin, has been giving the wrong message?.

Here's an observable fact: human nature is to flock where your ears get tickled the most. And it looks like brother Joel is tickling a lot of ears.

And for the record, Christ didn't soften his message, He simply new how to effectively present it that left the hearer without rebuttal.

rx7ward: While God made you, He did NOT make you gay. You made you gay. It's a choice. You are not born gay. It's a learned behavior just like any other sexually deviant behavior. Furthermore, homosexuality is not just a detestable sin, it's an abomination, it says so in Leviticus 18:22. As for "transsexualism" see Deuteronomy 22:5..it's quite clear what God thought about that. If God made people gay, then He would have been wrong for removing Sodom and Gomorrah from existence and they'd still be on the map. However the Bible once again shows how that sat with the Creator. I think 1st Corinthians 6:9 says it most clearly.

homosexuals are simply trying to justify their behavior under the guise of marriage. We (true Christians) all know what the outcome will be.

Oh and for the record, God made these statements in His word, not us Christians. While you can shoot the messengers, you will never escape the truth of what He laid out well before you and I came on the scene.
