Why thank you! Most people laugh when I say I'm a Buddhist. Such is life when your white, middle class, and not in the Middle East. Most just think it's a joke. That's why I don't mind Christians. The Buddha tells everyone to respect other's religions. We are all human and share the same desires for love and happiness. Whether you trust in God or the Buddha's teachings makes no difference. It's the love and kindness you show toward people everyday.

Hate to be dire but many people say we can't change the Bible but I would be willing to bet about 80 percent is incorrect. Documents can't even last 100 years with something being left out or added in or having a person change to what they want. I highly doubt that the Bible is 100 percent correct. Nothing in the Bible says homosexuality is wrong. They just didn't know anything about it and most often kept it a secret. Now that we are learning its a hormonal imbalance that will help us see that it's not homosexuals to blame, it's nature or for Christians GOD! God made them the way that they are just as he made mentally handicapped or kids with cancer. So would God damn a mentally handicapped person for being the way he is? I would sincerely hope not for all you believers faith.

Be them gay, lesbian, bi, transsexual. or whatever type of sexuality you are, I love you no matter what. Even if Christians want to put you down and act like there is no where to go for you except down you will still be heard. GAY RIGHTS! :)

  • Survey: 7 of 10 Americans Prefer 'Merry Christmas' Over 'Happy Holidays'

Christmas is not about Christians anymore. It's taken it's own meaning. The only reason 7 out of 10 want to hear Merry Christmas is because of the holiday itself, not because it supports Jesus. I like Merry Christmas because the majority supports Christmas. I shouldn't have to censor myself for the minority.

That leads into stores. If a store decides it wants to change the signage to Happy Holidays shouldn't they be allowed to? Wouldn't you not want someone to have up Merry Christmas in their windows when they don't even know what it means?

When I first heard of the idea I thought it was stupid. But being the open minded devout Buddhist I am I accepted her search for love. It may be misguided trying to find it on national television and making people compete for her love and affection but it's still what she wants to do. John said MTV promoting sodomy? They have made out on the show. Some touching but no sex or anything. Just what young people always do. Why do we still live in a world where people still judge and hate others based on their sexual orientation? How does their sexual orientation affect you? If it's against your religion then they will get there's someday. Until then LEAVE THEM ALONE! They want happiness just like you and it's not something that they decided upon. It's something they were born with. We have more and more evidence every day that suggests it's not just decision its a hormone imbalance. And if that's true then they are children of God as well which means God loves them.

God is kinda bisexual, he loves Men AND Women.
