believer: I am no Bible expert. But wouldn't you agree that there is way too much divorce and remarriage going on in the body of Christ? whether it's those who are in ministry or not?? God calls it adultery. Mathew 5:32

After these comments today, I am truly wondering if there is any fit for the pulpit!!

anyone who claims to be in ministry, and is divorced, and perhaps even remarried, they have no business in ministry. The marriage relationship is a very serious issue with God. It's a binding contract for life. To break it except for adultery is a slap in the face to God. Now if the husband or wife is abusive, then have them locked up.

God has standards in His Word for us to live by. These standards are for our own good. When we don't live by them, we sin. It's called disobedience. There is much more to living for God than just believing in Him.

if we confess our sins, He is faithful to forgive us our sins. 1 John 1:9 she must confess that she sinned. and ask God to forgive her.

believe me!!! I do not watch them. I don't watch christian tv period!!! All they know how to do is beg for money or show off body parts. That will not save a soul. So in other words, no woman should have any kind of participation in the church?

but wasn't that written at a time when the women were trying to out talk the men? and didn't the women sit on one side, and the men on the other? I personally do not think a woman should be a pastor. I can agree with that.

I hear what you are saying. And that's what the Word says. But,....what about Kathry Kuhlman? As I am a woman, I would never overstep my husband's authority over me. But what if I am asked to speak at a ladies meeting? Sunday school? What about all the disobedient men who cause God to look for a woman to use to speak?

so it's ok to go against the Word of God and continue in ministry? Ministers whether man or woman should have one spouse, and one spouse only. Not several. That's for starters.
