garageguy: i will never trust the justice system. i have seen what it does. it's not very nice. it doesn't show justice. and as far as abiding by the church's doctrine or teachings, if it doesn't line up with scripture, I don't abide by it. and if i am asked to leave, so be it.

Mike: There are alot of people who say they have faith in Jesus. That's part of being born again. But there is much more to being in His Kingdom than just having faith in Him. There are commandments.

Mike: who told you that you have to have a traumatic experience to be born again? I sure didn't.

Mike: to be born again you must believe that Jesus is the son of God. He was born of a virgin. He died for your sins. He rose from the dead. Confess that you are a sinner. Ask Him to forgive you of your sins. Nothing in there at all about church.

Mike: the day is not far off that the church will be forced to hire someone who is gay. My relatives who are ministers have already gotten notice on that from their state congressmen. If they don't comply, they can pay a hefty fine go to jail, or close their church doors.
