Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. (JN 8:32)
Ethanol mandates can be a contributor to famine around the world. Instead of feeding people we are burning our food source. It is time stop this. Thanks
I think many of us have friends we would like to convince that life with Jesus is not only a necessity but is so much better than one without Him. It is very difficult to show people thier need for God. Scare tactics don't work about hell. It is off putting, yet they need to hear it. Life in America is very good, there are many distractions to keep us from seeing our need for God. I know it is Gods' calling that people come to know Him, and that we are to share with others His love and Word. Doing all this and still watch a friend be undecided is tough. I pray that my efforts are just the seed planting and that someday soon my friend will come to know the Lord. How to get people to see their need for God? Is it our job or Gods?
I don't think eitherside of this debate has conclusively proved scientifically what they believe. That is the fun of science. We should constantly question and challenge what we believe in science, because it changes rapidly. We should never say that the debate is done and that is the final answer. Ok maybe we can with a few things ie... gravity and etc. I personally believe the Bible should be literally translated and that we as Christians haven't tried very hard to come up with hard evidence. God will reveal things to us. I love to read about scientist who are doing research in the lab to disprove theory that suggests we can evlove, because everyone knows that once life begins it is in a slow progression of aging to death not a greater being. The fun is in the debate no matter what you believe.
On our own we are little more than bits of stone and glass. Together we are the Body of Christ. Holy Bible: Mosaic is an invitation to experience Christ in His Word and in the responses of his people. Each week, as you reflect on guided Scripture readings aligned with the church seasons, you will receive a wealth of insight from historical and contemporary writings.
