Supporters of Senator McCain and the Senator himself have peddled in distortions and lies. Senator Obama doesn't support same sex marriage and he said so with Rick Warren. He supports civil unions.

Senator McCain had a long list of campaign aids who had to resign because it was found out that they supported some of the worst dictators on the planet. Just name a couple Doug Goodyear supported the military junta in Burma. They are responsible for some of the worst human attrocities there is, including trying to eradicate Christianity in their country. Charlie Black has made a name for himself working for foreign dictators, people who have destroyed their countries and killed their people in their quest for power. Black's client list is a veritable who's who of evil men" Somali dictator Mohamed Siad Barre, Angolan rebel leader Jonas Savimbi of UNITA, Nigerian Dictator Ibrahim Babangida to name a few. This is just the tip of the iceberg with McCain. There are many more, but I hate this type of politics.

Again, when you Christ separates the goats from the sheep and the wheat from the chaff; you will see sinners and contrite people on one side and self righteous hateful people on the other side. Which campaign has run their campaign on smears and hate? The Republican candidate. You won't see killers and gays and one side and non killers and straights on the other when judgment day comes. You will see proud hateful idolaters as goats on judgment day. You will see people who put their faith in money(dead things) rather than the Living God.

Almost the entire message from the campaign of Senator McCain is don't vote for Barack because he is: a celebrity, (not S. McCain but supporters) anti-Christ, Socialist, Marxist, Liberal et cetera. Where is all the ideas and hopes for the country? Where is the call to unity? Even if he wins, he went way over board and he won't get help from me. If you can't win without cheating and demonizing your opponent, than don't run for office. Once again, when Christ separates the wheat from the chaff and the goats from the sheep; you won't see a line with killers on one side and non killers on the other. You will more clearly see a line with lovers on one side and haters on the other. Anybody can make a bad mistake, even killing once in a lifetime. But a lifetime of continuous hate has dire consequences at the end of life.

Republicans approved the tax rebate stimulus program. I paid no taxes but I got a check thanks to the Republican and Democratic Congress. It was a Republican president who supported the Corporate Socialism with the bailout of Wall Street. The government isn't supposed to go into the markket and buy bad securities. Republicans are for a progressive taxation system and that is part Socialistic. We have always had elements of Socialism in our society. The difference is that Republicans sneak the money to corporations, by faking wars and bailing out banks and using terms like "too big to fail." They are so dishonest and greedy.

I respect people who fight to show that all life is precious. The biggest problem is that the Republican Party is in no way shape or form a reflection of Christian values. The leaders of the party have done nothing on abortion, they never do. It's about money with them. It's always about money. That's idol worship and it causes more separation from God than killing does.

The lesson of the New Testament is salvation through faith in Christ, and demonstrating that faith through love. If we were to see a break down of the wheat and chaff and the goats and sheep; we would not see it broken down between those who kill and those that do not. We would likely see it it broken down between those who hate/apathy v.s. those that love.

The Republican leaders have done nothing on abortion. What have they always done? They always get those cuts that benefit mostly the rich." You can judge a tree by its fruit." Meanwhile, they demonize and hate everyone who thinks differently than them. They rush to war, they advocate torture, they lie, they are greedy and they hate.

There is not enough space here to give an economic lesson to prove that Fannie Mae. The housing market exploded form the beggining of 2002to about the end of 2005. This was due to a enourmous amount of buyers taking advantage of the super low interest rates Alan Greenspan(Fed Chairman) caused by lowering the federal funds rate. CEO's and shareholders made out like bandits and to balme low income workers is horrible. They lost the one home they owned.

    This explains it very well.

This is some info on the horrible email going around accusing Barack of supporting later term abortions. There was already a law on the books protecting the children. Republican Bill Sponsor Said “None Of Those Who Voted Against SB-1082 Favored Infanticide.” Rick Winkel, a Republican former state senator who sponsored the “Born Alive” bill, wrote in a Letter to the Editor, “None of those who voted against SB-1082 favored infanticide.”

Many evangelicals are in fact chopping the Bible and creating their own Bible by focusing on only two issues. The primary message in the New Testament is salvation through faith in Christ demonstrated through love. So, while I agree abortion is offensive to the Lord and much more needs to be done, it will all come down to love vs hate. You can make the mistake of abortion once in life and repent and live a Christian life. On the other hand, you can never get an abortion, but be a hateful and judgmental person your whole life.

Does anyone care that many lobbyist for Senator McCain resigned only a few months ago because they helped some of the worst dictators on this planet? Here are a few:Charlie Black(Somalia’s Mohamed Siad Barre, Mobuto Sese Seko of Zaire )Kevin Fay, Peter Madigan (Saudi Arabia), Kirsten Chadwick(Bahrain), Doug Goodyear and Doug Davenport(Myanmar/Burma). Type in Burma in the search engine in this site and you will see that goverment tried to eradicate Christianity. "Human Events" keeps sending out these hate filled emails trying to scare people into hating all Islam staing "Islam to take over Christianity in Europe" That is the silliest thing I heard and very dangerous. Type in "Barack Obama - Hope or Hate? You Decide. (Let it Be)" in YouTube to get an idea of hate. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rUAFUoz3jc This is not killingvs not killing, it is love vs hate. Loving is much more than screaming killer at someone.

I’m going to invoke some scripture on behalf of Barack.

“Malicious witnesses rise up; they ask me of things I do not know. They repay evil for good…The smiters whom I did not know gathered together against me. They slandered me without ceasing. Like Godless jesters at a feast, they gnashed at me with their teeth…Do not let those who are wrongfully my enemies rejoice over me; neither let those who hate me wink maliciously. For they do not speak peace, but they devise deceitful words against those who are quiet in the land…And they opened their mouths wide against me; they said “Aha, aha, our eyes have seen it!”…Do not let them say in their heart “Aha, our desire!”

“Let them shout for joy and rejoice who favor my vindication.” Psalms 35:11, 15, 16,

I grew up Catholic and my mom teaches it, but I'm just Christian now. But just because I find some things about Catholocism inconsistent with scripture, doesn't mean a Catholic can't still be a better Christian than me. Remember the wome who wiped Christ's feet with perfume, Christ said " though her sins are many, she is forgiven", because of the love she showed. 1 Peter 4:8 says "above all keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins."

Again with the government is bad and markets are good. The corporations I worked for abused the tar out of me. They tortured me at times and cheated me. The government helped me out when I was ill and when I was layed off from a corrupt corporation. The government isn't perfect and you can see that form the BUSH administration, but corporate America is no picnic either.

This article is about global poverty and the horrors that people go through because of it. It isn't a bunch of people skipping lunch ya know."854 million people worldwide are going hungry and another 100 million people are at risk of starvation because of soaring food prices." These people are God's children as much as any developing life, they cry out for help everday, but the Republican Party leadership doesn't do enough on this or on abortion for that matter. Free Markets is what they put their faith in.

The lesson of the New Testament isn't who kills and who doesn't. First it's faith in Christ, but it's faith demonstrated through love. Your predictable reply is " that's it's not loving to kill developing life." It's important to point out wrongs in life, but the manner in which you do it is even more important. You heard the saying "hate the sin, but love the sinner." I don't get the impression from the GOP that they love the sinner. They seem to think that they will stand before Christ and say " I didn't have an abortion and I didn't have sex with someone of the same sex, pretty good huh." Christ didn't come to call the self righteous, but sinners.

Yeah, Christ was attacked(by the Pharisees) for associating with tax collectors, sound familiar? Republican leadership uses mind manipulation by attaching negative stimulus to words like: Marxist, Socialist, Muslim et cetera and then trying to falsely apply them to anyone who disagrees with them. Just stick to the issues instead of labeling and name calling and making people so angry. I'm and Democrat and progressive. I'm not after people's guns and I think much more needs to be done about abortion and I'm only for slightly raising the taxes on the wealthy in order to save the country from disaster. You don't have any idea how much collaberation and corruption there is in business. Money really is the one thing Republican leaders are truly concerned about. It's dirty paper. It can't save one soul. It's nothing to put your trust in.

No one here has the moral authority to say who is and who isn't a Christian. The only thing you can say is whether their individual actions in certain circumstances are consistent with Christian values. Barack Obama never said that there was another way to heaven other than Christ Jesus. You are twisting what he said. Christ Himself said that many will come to Him at judgement day claiming they drove out demons in His name and He will say "begone you who practice evil." There is a big difference between saying Christ and doing Christ.

Put people first. A country is an idea and not a life. God bless anyone who follows the principles of his only Son, no matter where in the world they are.

Don't bring your politics into your faith. Bring your faith into every aspect of your life.

The founders of this country knew the greatest threat to the people would be its own corrupt government. That's part of the reason we have free speech in the Constitution. Rev. Wright was being critical of the government for what he believed to be an overly aggressive foreign policy. His for mistake was his over the top presentation. I hear old folks saying "this country is going to hell in a hand basket" all the time. How is that not being critical of the country? Have any of you never lost your temper on a loved one or friend or did something you regret? The hypocrisy is very great here.
