Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. (JN 8:32)

I work for this company, and everything this article states is true. Please pray for my deliverence as I find it harder and harder to work for a company that supports these unbiblical views. Some days I feel like Daniel in Bablyon, (although a lot less righteous and holy than him).

I just watched "Facing the Giants", and this picture looks like another winner by Sherwood. Kirk Cameron was just on the Today show, hopefully this will attract enough interest in having a good showing at the box office this weekend.

JC, I applaude you in the way you respond in truth and love, I wish more on these posts would do the same. We are truly in the last days, as the bible tells us that many will depart from the Truth and believe the Deceiver.
blue1018, your slanted view of Christainity is the farthest from the truth. In this dark post-modern world, nobody wants to hear the Truth, because the World dictates that Truth is whatever you want it to be. This modern form of Pagnism is merely systemic of that. The sad thing is, is that we will all have to give an account before God, no matter what we contrive or manufacture as belief. I will pray for you Libelleselene, God loves you, don't follow the broad path that leads to destruction.

Chicago24, The Bible clearly states that homosexuality is "an abomination" in the eyes of God. I don't need to reference the verses that speak to this, you already know what they are. Spinning them to fit your own view will not change the reality of what is sin to the Lord. As someone else here had mentioned, it is no different than alcohol abuse, drug addiction, pornography addiction, etc... Sin is Sin, and nothing more. Choose to sin, choose to suffer, nuff' said.

Woe is you Bill Maher, as we all will have to give an account to God when we die, whether you believe in him or not.
Huckabee should be our President, McCain and Obama are charlatons.
Dr. Beam is spot on, you have to to take the Bible for what it is, not fit it to whetever worldview you want to make up. There is too much compromise in the Body today, too many churches want to distort, soften, obliterate the Lord's Truth. We need a leader that speaks for what the Bible states is Truth, not a worldly view to appease the populace for votes. Dobson has been outspeoken against both McCain and Obama, so the public is not misled by elloquent speech, and veiled compromises. We need to stand for what is right and what is Truth. These "wolves in sheeps clothing" candidates will not do, oh woe that Huccabee cannot win the nomination.

I agree with many comments said here. The African Episcaopal church has begun a reformation that should have taken place long ago. The Anglican church was created as a compromise between the "radical" Calvinist influenced Protestant forces within England and the fractured conservative Catholic remnant, by Elizabeth I. Now after centuries of compromises and stagnation, this Body has come full cicle. Repent and take the "path through the narrow gate" before it's too late.

This is the end result of going away from the bible and adopting the World's "Truths". When you do that, there is little difference with the Church and the World, why do they need to come then? Repent, and come back to what scripture says, not what a man-made consitution dictates. His Word will never fail or fall away.

I see this as just another pandering to the evangelical vote, and side-stepping the issues that really matter: Stopping the slaughter of the unborn, and protecting the institution of marriage. Until he adresses this, I care little what efforts he expands or support.
Once again Chuck is right on the money here. It is sad that McCain could not speak boldly for Christ on such a platform. It may be Christ does not speak through him?

Agreed, this visit smacks of desparation on McCain's part. His stance on social issues should be blatantly apparent, and not read "in between the lines" of visits to famous Preacher's.

Obama needs to address the social issues if he is going to win evangelical support. But to do so, would run against his liberal base. Support of abortion rights and leaving gay marriage "up to the states" is unacceptable for a so called "born-again" candidate. I for one cannot back down or compromise on these issues, so at this time I will opt out of this election. The lesser of two evils is still two evils.

Besides the Left vs, Right debate, I cannot in good conscience vote for any candidate, no matter what color they are, someone who doesn't protect the unborn, and the institution of marriage (man and women). The economy and everything else means nothing. In God's economy, it is how we walk, which is the only one that matters.
Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' And then will I declare to them, ' I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.'
On our own we are little more than bits of stone and glass. Together we are the Body of Christ. Holy Bible: Mosaic is an invitation to experience Christ in His Word and in the responses of his people. Each week, as you reflect on guided Scripture readings aligned with the church seasons, you will receive a wealth of insight from historical and contemporary writings.
