  • Conservative Christians Praise Calif. High Court Ruling on Prop. 8

1 Cor 6:9-10 says homosexuals will not inherit the Kingdom of God. Said in the context of unrighteous behaviors which prevent one from entering the Kingdom of God. Pretty clear cut. Also Romans 1:26-28 (homosexuality is a "vile affection" which results from a "reprobate mind") and 1Tim 1:10. The NT makes it very clear that homosexuality is a sin. An abomination one might say.

Ha Ha. I cited the NT verses which condemn homosexuality and mikey flaged the post. Guess he just can't handle the truth. How gay.

"The fact is the Bible never condemns same sex marriage or homosexuality" 1 Cor. Chapter 6 says homosexuals will not enter the kingdom of heaven. That sounds like a strong condemnation to me. Same with Chapter 1 of Romans and Chapter 1 of 1 Timothy. Dude, you don't have a clue what you are rambling about.

"And I guess English is not your first language because that passage NO WHERE says that is the ONLY way for marriage." Using that logic one could argue Mary was married to many spouses, both male and female, because the Bible never says Joseph was Mary's ONLY husband. It's the only definition of marriage Jesus gave so it's exclusive and that has been recognized for over 2000 years. No one in that time other than a handful of gay sinners and their extreme supporters has argued differently. And Paul warned us about those types with their itching ears.less

"Jesus never said that there was only one way for marriage. Lying doesn't help your case any." Well, mikey...either you are ignorant of the Bible or you are the one lying. Neither is very flattering to you. Mat 19:4-5 "Have you not read that he who made them at the beginning made them male and female, and said, For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be ...more

"Here is a true look at the mentality of the anti-marriage crowd. They claim to be against sex outside of marriage, but they support the idea of not allowing people to get married." That's Jesus' position. He is against sex outside of marriage and said marriage was between one man and one woman. A good side to be on.

Since the average gay marriage only lasts less than two years (as per Canadian and European census records) the 18,000 gay "spouses" will be divorced or dead in just a few years. Thus, the California experiment in perversion will soon be but an ugly memory.

Thank goodness the Cal. Supreme Court actually followed the law. I guess calling the constitution unconstitutional would have been pushing judicial activism a bit too far, even for California. A great day for decency. Now we will probably see the always angry gay lobby go on another violent rampage, like they did after the election itself.

  • Thousands of NY Christians Protest Gay Marriage

Good news. The Cal. surpeme court voted to uphold Prop. 8 the constitutional amendment which banned the depraved practice of gay marriage. Thy will be done!!! Maybe there is some hope left for America.

  • Hate Crimes Bill Heads for Vote Amid Mixed Christian Reactions

Why would a crime directed against a group be any worse than a crime directed against an individual. Both provoke the same amount of fear in the community at large. In each instance the victim's blood is just as red, their tears just as salty and their pain is just as real. The hateful motives of lust, greed, jealosy and envy are just as reprehensible as the hateful motive of bigotry. Thus, &...more

Thus, "hate crime" means some victims are more important and deserving of society's protection than others. It's a very bigoted concept really.less

The whole concept of "hate crimes" merely stands for the proposition that some victims are more important than others.

  • HIV-AIDS Rates Higher in D.C. Than West Africa

The Apostle Paul said male homosexuals shall receive their penalty "inside themselves". We are seeing the truth of that right here before our very eyes. A practical illustration of God's wrath and the need for repentence. Another very real example of the consequences of sin.

  • Gunman in Church Shooting Had Arsenal in Bedroom

Give me a break. Two shotguns and a .22 rifle is not an "arsenal" by any conceivable stretch of the imagination. This would be typical of the firearms owned by any hunter. If fact most game hunters have more long guns than this. It's clear the media, once again, is trying to exploit someone's death to advance their exteme anti-gun agenda.

  • Gay Marriage Opponents Fear Conn. Bill Will Promote Homosexuality

Conn. is a VERY anti-Christian state. The legislature just introduced a bill which tries to dictate how every Catholic church should be run. A blatant violation of the first amendment.

I don't think anyone believes 0 is a Christian. I was ready to consider him the antichrist but realized he's way to bumbling and incompetant to be the antichrist. Besides, the antichrist won't need a teleprompter to give a five minute speech.

  • Prop. 8 Challenge Reaches Calif. Court

So......it's ok for people to impose their Environmental, social, philosopical, charitable and reproductive dogma on others through the legislature but not religious dogma? What kind of logic is that?

  • Prop. 8 Challenge Reaches Calif. Court

Given the tenor of the Judge's questions and the arguments presented, it seems clear Prop 8 will be upheld by the Court. Thus, no gay marriage in California. Next they should press a constitutional amendment prohibiting gay adaption. Keep pushing while the momentum is still there.
