K2 Productions and pageant executive director Keith Lewis later responded to Prejean's suit with their own, saying Prejean "might have avoided this legal battle" had she "heeded the guidance of the Gospel of John, who admonished only those who are without sin to cast stones in judgment."

These truly are some of the stupidest people the planet has ever produced. When did she ever pass judgment on anyone?? All she said was that she believed in traditional marriage personally! It was her opinion! These thought nazis blew this thing up into a proverbial international incident and are the ones who unleashed a backlash against her!

(Disclaimer: I don't think Miss Prejean should have posed in ANY WAY shape or form for anything. This is unbiblical, HOWEVER, this smear campaign was specifically designed to destroy her because of her stance for traditional marriage by reprobate hypocrites.)

  • Is Truth Really Plural? Postmodernism in Full Flower

First of all, anything associated with the "emergent" movement should send up red flags automatically. Secondly, Franke's definition of plurality as it relates to Christianity is assumed and not actual. Within Christianity are various denominations, but one thing enjoins them all - The belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, dying on a cross for the sins of mankind, raised the third day, seated at the right hand of God the Father and will one day return to receive His church unto Himself.

His definition of "plurality" is skewed.

    Alockslee,

You are wrong...again...You are repeating a commonly held position by secualar revisionists whose sole purpose is to remove every vestiage of God from our society.

The quote that is often sited is this:
"The government of the United States is in no sense founded on the Christian religion." GEORGE WASHINGTON

what it ACTUALLY says is this:
"As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian religion as it has in itself no character of enmity [hatred] against the laws, religion or tranquility of Musselmen [Muslims] and as the said States [America] have never entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mahometan nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries."

Those who attribute the Treaty of Tripoli quote to George Washington make two mistakes. The first is that no statement in it can be attributed to Washington (the treaty did not arrive in America until months after he left office); Washington never saw the treaty; it was not his work; no statement in it can be ascribed to him. The second mistake is to divorce a single clause of the treaty from the remainder which provides its context. It would also be absurd to suggest that President Adams (under whom the treaty was ratified in 1797) would have endorsed or assented to any provision which repudiated Christianity. In fact, while discussing the Barbary conflict with Jefferson, Adams declared:

The policy of Christendom has made cowards of all their sailors before the standard of Mahomet. It would be heroical and glorious in us to restore courage to ours.

Furthermore, it was Adams who declared:

The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were. . .the general principles of Christianity. . . I will avow that I then believed, and now believe, that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God; and that those principles of liberty are as unalterable as human nature.

There is so much more, but space limits me:

Well, they might want to get a clue from our national monuments:

The Lincoln Memorial at one end of the nation's capital includes President Lincoln's second inaugural address, which makes six references to God in 700 words, shorter than an average news article.

Also in the memorial is a quotation from the Gettysburg Address, in which Lincoln said, "This nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom."

The Washington Monument includes a bible in its cornerstone.

The Supreme Court has the Ten Commandments inscribed in four places.

The Library of Congress, White House and Jefferson Memorial all have references to God.

The Declaration of Independence, in which the colonies separated themselves from England, includes the phrase: "We are endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights."

From one end of America to the other, references to the Judeo/Christian God are everywhere. Godless secularists are relentless in trying to remove God's name.

They say, "But as we enter this new century, what we ought to be doing is becoming increasingly concerned about the diversity of religious and nonreligious opinion." (Rev. Barry Lynn, head of the organization Americans United for Separation of Church and State)

    But, HOLD ON ONE MINUTE:

If Jehovah God is how we got here; if He is the One who guided our great and diverse nation to this point in time; if it is by Him that all men are created equal with inalienable rights, then why would we dare to remove His providence from our nation?

    What foolishness!

Go back and read about the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. (Sodom, where we get the word "sodomy"). Read how perverse and "in your face" the culture had become. It was racked with violent acts of sex and perversion. To the point that the men of Sodom were bent on raping two holy angels of the Lord sent to rescue Lot and his family!

When God gives men over to a vile mind, they turn base in their nature. When the fallen angels of God fell with satan, they became base and vile...they became demons. God gave them over.

Those in hell today are there because God gave them over to their sin for all eternity. Hell is a place where the passions and lusts of mankind are never satisfied.

When God gives you over...slowly society begins to self-destruct. Without an absolute moral point of reference from which to guide it, society becomes like a lost ship on the ocean never able to find a port.

History tells us that the Roman Empire collapsed in part (I think absolutely) because immorality wasted the culture.

Here is the actual video of the event filmed by the Philly 11.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1m90cBzIN8

Come to find out between 10 and 11 percent of the attorneys in the Civil Rights Division in Philadelphia are homosexual. Thus they were part of a driving force behind the incarceration of the Philly 11.

Some of the lawyers in [the Civil Rights Division] participated in the gay-rights march," a source told WND, referring to the OutFest event. "They participate in those kinds of marches."

He said he believes the protesters were charged with ethnic intimidation "at the recommendation of some of our attorneys who were at the march."

Continued the Justice employee: "They advised the police as witnesses, not as legal counsel, but as witnesses who may have observed what happened."

Why as witnesses and not legal counsel? Because they knew if they advised them as legal counsel their "you-know-whats" would be in a sling. They knew they were breaking the law, but that didn't matter. By the time it was all sorted out the event would've been over.

This is the type of pro-gay/anti Christian behavior that is on the horizon for this country. This Federal Hate Crimes law is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Everything is about to change.

How dare you minimize Jesus' holiness and divinity by characterizing Him as some partying backslidder like yourself.

Folks, run from this kind of backslidden and unbiblical garbage! He's just another emergent church-type who superimposes culture on top of the Bible.

Homosexual Man said: Like I say, if you read the Bible for what is *there* you will see that there was one special love in the life of Jesus and that person was a *man*.

And like I've shown below, you have perverted the nature of the word "love" used to describe Jesus' relationship with His friends.

Eros is the love we feel for a boyfriend, girlfriend or spouse.
Phileo is the love we feel for our friends and family.
Agape is the love that God loves us with. Agape is unconditional.

Phileo is the word used in scripture to describe what Jesus showed for Lazarus. You have twisted the scripture....again...

In John 13:23 , "Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved."

The Greek word used here is: AGAPE - unconditional love that God has toward us. again, it's NOT erotic (EROS) love.

Your arguments fall flat. Why don't you stop twisting scripture and start using them to change your rebellious heart.

    Homosexual Man,

You have twisted the passages you site in regard to Lazarus.

Jesus loves you and I as well. Does that make Him gay? Of course not!

John 11:3 So the sisters sent to him, saying, "Lord, he whom you love is ill."

The word "love" here is NOT a romantic or erotic (eros) love. The word "love" here is the Greek word: phileō which means: to befriend; the love we feel for our friends and family. It's an affection toward a friend or loved one.

What you have done is twisted something pure and genuine and perverted it to invent a new doctrine.

What has happened since Jesus' day is that culture has so deteriorated into immorality that even the friendship that men have for one another has become perverted with homosexual connotations.

So you know, love and justice are equally contained in God's very nature.

When the Bible says God is love, that means that God's goodness emerges from His non-contradictory nature, (He can be both loving, just and hate at the same time). God's nature is the defining point of all that is logically consistent and coherent. God is the only one who from a point of view of pure holiness, from His nature can exhibit all these qualities perfectly. Mankind are fallen and sinful and cannot.

    Homosexual Man,

Your blasphemy is what's sending you to hell friend. You refuse to heed the warning. And though on this side of eternity you can argue and twist scripture and be warned countless times by genuine believers, one day you will stand before the holy, pure and righteous God of heaven and you will find yourself cast out because of your refusal to repent.

You can say all you want and twist the truth all you want; so many true believers on here have tried time and time and time again to warn you and to reason with you, in love, but you've refused to heed their warning.

I pity you. I genuinely do, because you have no idea what's coming for you, and I'm almost afraid that when the time does come, it will be too late.

I know none of this may matter to you, and you will only mock my words, but one day it will matter. I urge you to reconsider; to count the cost.

Everything we do should be done in love, but like these other believers have already noted that love alone is not enough. There is the responsibility of the "hearer" to act upon the Gospel message.

Now, this may happen in some circumstances. Some may be at a point in their lives where they are ready to receive the Gospel without a fight and simply the love of a stranger can usher them in.

HOWEVER, and this must not be understated, that what often times prevents a person from coming to Christ, is not necessarily a lack of love - but it's the fact that the sinner loves his sin and wants to stay in it. Some even want to be accepted for their sin and see no need to repent of it.

In other words, their argument is: "I'll become a "believer" in Christ so long as I can do it without having to change my lifestyle." There are homosexual churches that cater to this mindset.

You can rename a church and twist the doctrines of the Bible all you want, but it's the transformation in the heart that makes a Christian a Christian. It isn't simply an intellectual ascent to a scheme or plan or adding the term "Christian" as a title to your name.

A man must be BORN AGAIN. The old, sinful man must die, and the "new man", born of the Spirit and water must be given preeminence.

If a man is not born again, he can't be a Christian.

So, yes, love people. Present the Gospel in love, but make sure the sinner understands that although God loves them, His love requires justice for sin...or it isn't love.

    Chicago...get a clue!

It's already happening across the country. Some states already have the legislation on their books:

"The Pacific Justice Institute noted that in California, hate crimes laws are commonly invoked as a basis for further laws pushing acceptance of homosexuality in public schools and the workplace. The group also warned that use of "hate speech" terminology is also now being employed by minority religious groups in America to encourage suppression of free speech, as a prominent Hindu group called on Congress and major Internet service providers to shut down websites critical of Hinduism, including websites of Christian mission organizations."

"Bills of this sort are designed to forward a political agenda and silence critics, not combat actual crime," [ADF Senior Legal Counsel Erik Stanley] said. "The bottom line is that we do not need a law that creates second-class victims in America and that gives the government the opportunity to ignore the First Amendment."

We don't need to see someone "arrested" to cry foul. We only need to read the Constitution of the United States of America. This "law" is unconstitutional.
