I pray everyone reads this books. It is a great book. One thing I hope people take from the book as it addresses the teachings of individuals, is not to lump emerging churches and Emergent into one big vat. I was concerned when they said at the beginning of the book that they were not going to make a distinction between the two but as they addressed the teachings of individuals instead of generalizing, I appreciated their study.

There are many, mnay troubling things in Emergent and many emerging churches. There are many emerging churches that hold to the Scripture who should not be lumped into Doug Paggitt, Brian McClarian, Tony Jones and the like. Please read this book if you have concerns with the emerging church communitee. It is very, very well done!
