This is a very interesting article on transgendered persons; however, I feel the author is missing something. This is not the whole story. Being transgendered happens in utero, before the mother even knows she is pregnant, and therefore, the transgendered person has no control over whether he/she will be transgendered or not, it is inevitable. Who is to say whether Nature or Nuture or both has caused the transgendered person to turn out this way, only God knows.

I also know that nothing will ever separate us from the love of God, we are all God's children! I am a mother of a transgendered son, and I love him dearly, and I know God loves him, without a doubt! It is not my son's fault, it is not the parent's fault, it is just the way it is. Not everything is black and white. I believe God has a plan for my son's life, and somehow God is turning my son's life around through his transgenderism, and will bring my son to Himself. My son had sought help for years for his severe depression, and this is the only way out for him, to do otherwise is hazardous to his health, and only God knows what is in my son's heart.

We are to treat the transgendered people (as well as the gay, lesbian and bisexual persons) with the utmost dignity and respect, to do otherwise is unChristian and wrong, and not what Jesus would have us do. We are to love as Jesus loves, and that is unconditionally!

Because of what my son is going through, I have a closer walk with Jesus. Because of what my son is going through, I have a closer relationship with my son. I had been praying for years for my son to come to know the Lord, to search for Him with all of his heart til he finds Him, but whoever thought it would take being transgendered to do it?? Who are we to question the ways of God?

I believe that He who has begun a good work in my son will complete it on the day of Christ. God takes us where we're at, whether we're heterosexual, bisexual, gay, lesbian or transgendered; God looks at the heart, not outward appearances or lifestyle, and only God can judge, not us. To shun those who are different is totally, totally wrong and unChristian!

All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, but praise God, His mercies are new every morning, and each day is a brand new miracle!! There is absolutely nothing God won't forgive; and nothing will ever separate us from the love of God!less
