    I agree with the last comment...
    God didn't call us to "build bridges", he commanded us to separate ourselves from the world and to be holy as He is holy!
    Cowart comments on the growth of his church saying "I think we would've survived ... but I don't think we would be nearly as healthy or the size of the church we are now." BUT a healthy church and a big church are very seldom - if ever - a synonym. I have also recently read an article where Bill Hybels at Willow Creek (the sister church of Saddleback) has admitted that they have "made a mistake" according to an investigation done over the past few years it has shown that though the church has grown in numbers, it has produced very few followers of Christ... OOOPS!
