"A denomination is splitting? This is news????"

It's never news when a man-made association (such as a denomination) has disagreements and decides to split up. The "news" here is that one side of this split is ignoring Scripture and the other is trying to abide by biblical precepts, and though threads like this the Truth of the matter is being told.

Mickey is a unrepentant homosexual and a non-Christian posting on a Christian site and claiming that anti-biblical views about sin are the truth. For him to claim that Bible-believing Christians are the ignorant and the liars on this thread is indeed laughable. He's a typical troll.

"Wrong Online, they aren't intersted in Biblical teaching, only getting their own way."

The Bible clearly teaches that homosexual acts are a distortion of God's original plan for sexual relations. These folks are seeking God's way, not their own selfish way.

So just because I disagree with you that automatically makes me a liar? Whatever!

People have a choice over their behavior. One can choose to act out on their urges or keep them under control. Christians realize that everyone is born a sinner, but people have a choice whether or not to act out on their urges to steal, to kill, to fornicate, to have sex with someone outside of marriage, etc.

How many times do we need to explain to people like Mickey that people have no choice over the color of their skin but they do have a choice about their sexual behaviors?

gguy: You have no clue about what it means to be indwelt by the Holy Spirit, who guides us to an understanding of Scripture. The Bible states "The natural man knows not the things of God, neither CAN he know them because they are spiritually discerned." Without the Holy Spirit to guide you in spiritual concepts, you have no idea what the Bible does or does not say. And that's sad.

gguy: Even if homosexuality is caused by a genetic disorder, it would still make homosexual acts "disorders."

And just as someone is born genetically inclined to steal and rape and murder, that doesn't give them an excuse to act on those natural instincts.

Mickey: I have a bachelor of science degree in biblical studies. You might not believe it, but that won't take away the diploma hanging on my wall.

As for homosexuality never being mentioned in the Bible, you better read through those passages again because God's Word specifically speaks against "men leaving behind the natural use of the women." As for the Bible speaking of sodomy, that's where we get the modern term "sodomy" (vile anal sex acts committed by men with other men).

"Nope, the Bible is talking about prostitution and anyone who has read the Bible knows it."

What a load, Mickey. If the Bible meant "prostitution" it would have used that word, but instead it specifically calls out the sins of homosexuality and sodomy. Your lies on these threads would be funny if they weren't so ridiculous for those of us who have degrees in theology.

Showing people the truth about the destructive nature of homosexuality, which has been gaining more and more acceptance of late, will go a huge way toward limiting the exploitation of children.

Obviously watching this unborn baby trying to move away from this abortionist's probes was enough to cause this clinic director to realize we're dealing with human lives here.
