Why does the Roman Cath religion condsider birth control in the bonds of marriage a sin?
Is there a specific reference in the Bible that even in principle prohibits birth control in the bonds of marriage?
Or is this another example of tradition put on the same par as Scripture.
The Pope is not the Cornerstone of the Church ... Jesus is.

I am not an evangelist on the par of Billy but I have become aware of many books out there that are labeled "christian" help books. But there is only ONE book we can trust and I am sure you know what I am talking about. The Holy Scriptures ... The Bible.
So don't let anyone tell you your "Purpose" without the PROPERLY interpreted Word of God.
God bless you as you study the Word of God.
Davy and Goliath quite possibly was my first exposure to biblical teaching through the art of "claymation". I remembering looking forward to the shows broadcast on sunday mornings on a local tv staqtion(all before cable).

Amazing ...we were studying church discipline last night at study.
1 Cor. tells us the unrepentent "church member" who professes the name of Christ, for his own good and the good of Christs church, must be lovingly asked to leave the church. And upon true repentance may be welcomed back into the church and helped.
Loving church discipline is needed in the church today.

Greetings,
At this point it is my impression that the Roman Church has never recanted from their "anathama" of the Biblical teaching of "sola Fide". Salvation through faith in Christ alone. They continue, if not in a stealthy way, to add works to faith for salvation.
Show me where Rome has recanted their decision at the Council of Trent.
Peace be with you,

On our own we are little more than bits of stone and glass. Together we are the Body of Christ. Holy Bible: Mosaic is an invitation to experience Christ in His Word and in the responses of his people. Each week, as you reflect on guided Scripture readings aligned with the church seasons, you will receive a wealth of insight from historical and contemporary writings.
