Any representative for the truth of the Word of God should know that the eyes of the secular world, no less other Christians, are always on them.
Providing photo opportunities like the one in Rome is wreckless and irresponsible. And it now appears that there has been a confession to a violation of the Ninth Commandment.
And yet we must believe that Christ foresaw all of this and went to the cross. Now these three need to get back to the same cross.

An interesting summation, but it completely excludes a somewhat lengthy kissing scene between two of the gay characters. And there is strong suggestion that a lesbian relationship is being developed. Also not mentioned in the summation. Have to wonder if Katy Perry will eventually come into play. Much to talk about at the water cooler in the morning. I believe that is the idea.

Mat 18:14 Even so it is not the will of your Father in Heaven that one of these little ones should perish.
And second, Satan (and all of his followers) would likely enjoy your interpretation of what Hell is as opposed to the actual reality that awaits. And we should note that the reference to Gehenna is not used in the following text.

Luk 22:38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And He said to them, It is enough.
The interpretation in this article suggests that Christ referred to the two swords figuratively and not literally in order to counter the more "war-like" symbolism used by the Muslims. But if we consider verses 49 to 51 in the same chapter, we find that one of the disciples (unnamed in this text) used a sword against a servant of the High Priest. And Jesus does not rebuke them but yet uses the occassion to perform a miracle upon the servant.
It is also interesting to note, back in verse 38, that the disciples did not question Jesus about the need for swords.
There is also much confusion over Jesus' use of the wording "It is enough" at the end of verse 38.
We should consider that Christ was not referring to the number of swords, but to the fact that this final gathering with His disciples was over. For it was time for Jesus to be delivered up for suffering and death, and for the disciples to be separated for a time as we see later in this chapter.less

Actually, monotheistic in the Christian bible describes the true living God as the Father Son, and Holy Spirit, three acting as one (mono). Completely transparent unity. Monotheistic in the Muslim bible describes a god that is one supreme authority and does not share authority with anyone else. So then the two are monotheistic, but different in nature.

"There is no clear frontrunner yet for Republican nominees for the 2012 presidential election, according to the Barna survey. Only Palin (13 percent), Romney (13 percent), and Huckabee (12 percent) have double-digit favorability rating among survey respondents."
This article seems to suggest that Christians, specifically evangelicals, are most interested in Republican candidates. Perhaps the phone interviews did not include mention of Tea Party candidates.
Nevertheless, Sarah Palin is the only candidate mentioned in this article who is "polarizing" enough to be a legitimate challenge. Perhaps this defines her so-called negative image.
And if the House were to return to Democractic control again in 2012, then Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid will again be at the helm. And although the Republican candidates have recently shown some favor towards President Obama, would they extend the same to Pelosi and Reid.

This article seems to give us the sense that the first two commandments can be interchangeable in their order of greatness. If we are falling short on our obediance to the first, we can still exercise the second to honor the first.
The emphasis is more on the text which reads that the remainder of the law, and the prophets, are based on obediance to the first two commandments. But Jesus is clear that the first commandment is the great commandment. Falling short of the first means the second cannot be fulfilled to the glory and honor of the Father.

We must remember that our non-Theocratic Government does not defend religious law, they defend voting bases.
President Obama's decision clearly changes the targeted voting base.
Obama has made it clear from the beginning that he personally opposed the law. Bill Clinton also opposed it, but for political reasons he signed it into law.
Presidents take an oath to defend the Constitution as is. Legal challenges are nothing new, but it is the proper way to determine if a law is in place by legal consensus and should remain in our constitution. In the meantime, the law is the law and is to be defended.
