  • Study: 61 Percent of Teens Want to be Virgins until Marriage

Certainly a valid question. I was able to get to this page (http://www.spiritualstateofthechildren.com/pages/page.asp?page_id=71194&story=14278) before I was required to register. If anyone wants to look further into their research statistics, feel free. :)

2/3 of the generation directly beneath mine believe truth is relative, feel that the Bible has little influence on their lives, and- most significantly- don't take sin seriously. This is a devastating statistic, though I would be curious as to whether such a statistic has ever been found before and what kind of trend this reflects.

On the other hand, when we compare this with the findings of George Barna, I guess this isn't that bad. After all, 43% of teens to state that they believe one cannot earn their way to heaven. Now, I'm sure that not all of them are Born-Again Christians (as Barna would call them,) but I still cannot help but notice that this is a higher amount than the population as a whole (of which under 40% believe that statement- according to barna.org). What do you think?less
