"The Passion of the Christ" Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

"The Passion of the Christ" earns $212 million as of March 7. The soundtrack also entered as #19 in the Billboard's Top 200, selling 48,000+ in its debut week.

"The response to Mel Gibson's film has obviously been beyond everyone's expectations, and we too were surprised, but pleased, as retailers confirmed all week the high demand for the soundtrack," said Daniel McGuffey, chief marketing officer for Intergrity Media. “‘The Passion’ is an incomparably powerful and convicting movie and I believe that people are buying the ‘The Passion of The Christ’ Original Soundtrack to keep alive the powerful emotions that they experienced during the film.”

Integrity will be launching a national radio campaign. It will feature the score and dialogue excerpts in production. Sony Music Direct will undertake a television campaign in support of the soundtrack.
