'2 Broke Girls' Season 5 Episode 9 Spoilers: Caroline Shows Some Crazy Talent; Will The Show Get Another Season?

CBS' hit television sitcom "2 Broke Girls" returns this week with a brand new episode that will feature a very surprising aspect of one of its characters. Meanwhile, fans have been wondering about the show's future in the airwaves. Will the Michael Patrick King and Whitney Cummings-created series get a new season?

The spoiler report from Enstarz.com reveals that in Episode 9, "And The Sax Problem," Caroline (Beth Behrs) will be showcasing some "crazy talent." The media outlet cited the promo video for the segment revealing that the character will be taking the stage and will end up surprising everyone with her vocal pipes.

Caroline revealed that she once joined a jazz choir where her piece was "God Bless The Child." However, it appears that the rest should be praying that they may have the strength to hold on to their sanity as the latter begins to belt out some notes.

It is yet to be found out if the blonde server gets the cheer or the boo from the crowd. One thing is for sure though, Caroline's singing and dancing - or the combination thereof - won't sit well with Max (Kat Dennings).

Meanwhile, a report from CarterMatt.com revealed that based on statistics, the show has significantly dropped in viewer's ratings through the years. Now on its fifth season, the media outlet speculated that the prospect of a new season should be something to be hoped for rather than expected.

According to the publication, "2 Broke Girls" still remains to be one of the network's strongest TV programming. However, the show has been averaging a 1.6 rating this season which, as explained, is on the low end of what the cabler uses as a benchmark in renewing its comedies.

Other than that, the sitcom is quite a bit weak when talking about publicity. Without this aspect, it's hard to see this show stay on air.

Carter Matt nonetheless gave "2 Broke Girls" a "fairly high" renewal rating.

The show airs Wednesdays, at 8 p.m. on CBS.
