2004 Homeschool Family Camp to Open this Month

The 2004 Homeschool Family Camp has been scheduled for Oct.18 to 21 at Mill Creek Canyon. The theme of the camp is “Through the Shepherd’s Eyes” which is designed for participants to discover new ways to enjoy God’s creation while cleverly disguising learning with playful exploration.

A description about the camp on its website describes, “Fall in the mountains is a beautiful time of year – you’ll be in the majestic San Bernardino Mountains at 5,200 feet above sea level! Come observe the seasons changing – as the leaves of autumn turn brilliant colors around the lake. Capture a family portrait just in time for Christmas cards, hike the many trails around Forest Home or – for the adventuresome – ascend above Forest Falls – California’s highest natural waterfalls - second only to Yosemite.”

The 2004 Homeschool Family Camp is a partnership between Forest Home Ministries and University Park Home Study Support Programs. The goal of the camp is to get kids excited about learning and growing in the Lord, encouraging mothers in their relationship with the Lord and equipping dads in their role as leader of the family.
