2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Debuts at LA Auto Show
Fiat-Chrysler–owned company Jeep isn't lagging behind in the race to determine the best autos for 2015 and 2016 as it is set to release a special edition Grand Cherokee in the Los Angeles Auto Show.
Called "Night," it is somehow similar to the Phantom Drophead Coupe Nighthawk from Rolls Royce, the CTS Midnight from Cadillac, and many other models. This is because of the usual darker finishes that the car features.
On the other hand, what makes it special is the upgrades that Jeep developed within its system. The SRT Night's base engine, a 3.6-liter V-6, is now loaded with 295 horsepower, compared to last year's 290.

Lower rolling resistance tires are part of the changes that come with the auto. This means the new model isn't falling short of the changes and upgrades that consumers expect from the carmaker in terms of improving fuel economy.
Aside from the said developments, the model will also feature the Valet mode. It allows for saving the amount of power used by the engine, which is suitable for tight situations.
While six pre-configured drive modes have been prepared for consumers to endure all seasons, including winter, a customizable mode is up for the car owner who wants to create his or her own driving rhythm.
The SRT Night is available in three colors: Velvet Red, Billet Silver, and Granite Crystal. To add more presence to the stealth concept, Black Laguna leather is featured in its upholstering, combined with the powerful effects of silver stitching.
Tech Times says the Grand Cherokee is way cheaper than similar models from other car brands such as the Porsche Cayenne Turbo or the Range Rover Sport Supercharged, and it is best for consumers who would like to save a fair amount for the holiday season.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee is slated for release early next year.
