2016 MTV Movie Awards News: Rebel Wilson and Adam DeVine Win Best Kiss as Will Smith Gets Lifetime Honor

On Sunday, this year's MTV Movie Awards wrapped up with a blast but probably the most cheered moment was when Rebel Wilson and Adam DeVine won Best Kiss for their comedy and drama-filled performance in "Pitch Perfect 2."

Wilson and DeVine walked down the stairs of the stage set up with classic lights and town buildings. Wilson's arm was tucked into DeVine's and as they thanked the audiences for their warm welcome, the on-screen couple went on to share a sloppy smooch that made the crowd get even more excited.

Meanwhile, other performances such as Ariana Grande's "Dangerous Woman" and hosts Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Kevin Hart's rap gave the night much more meaning.

Will Smith, who has been in the industry for the past years and has obtained numerous awards, won the Generation Award. Calling his honor the "old *ss dude award," Smith said he never expected and told the story about a fan in Brooklyn who didn't know who he was until he said he was the "Karate Kid" dad. In a video on MTV's official website, Smith then reminisced on his first break at the industry and told the audience that in two months, he will be celebrating 30 years as a star.

"I'm humbled and I just want all of you to know that I am dedicated to being a light in this world," he said.

Before Smith received his trophy, his legacy was honored by the Lonely Island band. The men went on to throw back some of the actor and music sensation's masterpieces including "Fresh Prince."

As reported by E! News, Movie of the Year went to "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," Comedic Genius went to Melissa McCarthy, and as expected by many, Best Male Performance was presented to "The Revenant" star, Leonardo DiCaprio.

Charlize Theron obtained the Best Female Performance award for "Mad Max: Fury Road," while Daisy Ridley received the Breakthrough Performance for "The Force Awakens."
