35th GMA Music Awards Winners Announced

On April 28, the 35th GMA Music Awards took place at the Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn., but this year perennial favorites such as Michael W. Smith and Steven Curtis Chapman did not take home any awards. Instead, many young artists such as MercyMe, Switchfoot, Jeremy Camp, Stacie Orrico and Mark Hall took home "Doves" during the culmination ceremony of the Gospel Music Association Convention Week that began on Friday, April 24.
