5 Bible Verses to Prepare for Easter

The Bible says that all things are from God, through God and to God (Romans 11:36). Being His creation, we should focus all our attention on Him. But the world is filled with things that distract us from fulfilling this purpose. God isn't enough for many people who have to come up with trivialities just to "add color" to things that already have meaning.

This includes holidays and festivals that are supposed to be dedicated to God. Man had to introduce Santa Claus on an occasion that celebrates Jesus' birth. He also had to have a competition on the day observing His resurrection through the Easter Bunny and Easter eggs.

This coming Easter Sunday, it would be best to reflect on the message of Christ's resurrection. He saved us from our sins by dying on the cross. By rising from the dead, Jesus assumes His Lordship and declares His power over all things including death. Here are five verses on the resurrection to help in your reflection.
